option on failed FETs

hi all! I’m currently 7dp5dt and I got a negative test. I know the result is not going to change and I’m already thinking about the next steps. We have 2 more frozen embryos and we decided that these will be our last two tentatives and we are not going to do IVF anymore. Our infertility journey started in 2016/2017, so we had enough heartbreaks! We are very lucky to have a beautiful daughter, born 2 years ago after a fresh 3 day embryo tranfer. She was our 4th transfer, the previous 3 were two FETs and one fresh 5 day embryo. From my daughter “embryo batch” we got two frosties that resulted in BFN. We decided to try again, did another egg collection and got pregnant but miscarried at 9 weeks. So in total we transferred 8 embryos, we got 6 BFN, one pregnancy and one miscarriage. I cannot stop thinking that the only positives we had, were 3 day embryo transfer, the rest was a disaster. All our FET, except one that was medicated, were “natural modified” with or without progesterone and my doctor suggests to continue with this protocol as my periods are regular and my lining is always perfect; also I have endometriosis so we are trying to avoid unnecessary estrogens. Is it just a coincidence that the 2 embryos that implanted are 3 days embryos or there might be a reason why FET do not work for me? My doctor thinks it’s just a matter of numbers. Please share your thoughts. Thanks 🙏

Thanks for your message! I’m seeing a therapist since the miscarriage, as this was too much to handle. I really think it’s helping, although some days are really hard. Thanks for your support ❤️

I have no experience with 3 day embryos but just wanted to say I’m so sorry for the hard time you’re having. I feel it too, and wish you all the best with your remaining two embryos x

Not really as I’m in the Netherlands and here it’s offered only to people that have genetic disorders or frequent miscarriages.
