Oestrogen tablets/medicated FET for APS?

Hi there, I’m due to see my fertility consultant about a new IVF cycle. I had done medicated FETs before (all failed) but now that I’ve been diagnosed with Antiphospholipid Syndrome, I’ve read that I should stay away from oestrogen tablets as they double the risk of blood clots.

Has anyone with APS been advised not to use progynova/undergo medicated FETs for this reason? Thanks

Maybe you should discuss your concerns with your consultant at your next visit - he knows your history - blood results and is best qualified to answer your questions

Take care

Thank you Janet, I was just wondering what others have been advised with APS and I’m worried about taking lots of oestrogen (I know my fertility doctor prefers medicated cycles). Thanks
