endometriosis and ivf
The advice was to use donor eggs or to repeat the
ivf
cycles with the same high doses of stimulating meds. I wasn’t ready to give up yet. I’m currently in Greece having my 2nd round of
IVF
cycle. The prices and the level of care you get here is amazing compared to the UK.

This is our 5th round if
IVF
and 6th transfer. We usually only get 1 embryo per cycle. I don't know why but I've been really at peace this round. OTD is on monday 🤞

Prednisolone/ corticosteroid prior to IVF & embryo transfer
Therefore, I stopped taking it as we will try an
ivf
treatment in the UK this year. However, I'm curios to hear anyone else's experience with prednisolone to support embryo transfer and implantation. Thank you !

NHS and Endometriosis both caused me lots of pain and complications
I’ve also had infertility issues for years but NHS Drs told me that nothing was wrong with me so we started
IVF
in a private clinic which costs us thousands of pounds!!!!

A very sensitive post
I did enough research on
IVF
using this beautiful platform, asked for good clinics and results, and I ended up with one. It was a hell of a journey. I was almost in my mid-40's. I used donor sperm, and it was successful the first time.

Hi, we've been referred to Care Fertility Tonbridge Wells for
IVF
, with NHS funding and are just awaiting contact from them. Does anybody know how they are likely to get in touch?

Supporting Egg Quality
Hello All,We went through our first cycle of
IVF
in Jan and we are planning our next round in July. The first round we went in very naively and rather blind in terms of body/mind preparation. I have tried to guide myself as much as I can but I wondered what you could add to what I am doing.

Help.. Chemical Pregnancy
Over the last 7 years I have had 7 rounds of
ivf
. Our last cycle in November ended with a failed fresh transfer and one high level mosaic that they have recommended we don’t use. Our cycle in Jan gave us 3 embryos- 2 PgT normal. Transferred one- got a positive 4 days post transfer.

Pains and aches in ovaries/uterus, more than a month since ivf treatment
I have been having pains in my ovaries and uterus since my
ivf
treatment (transfer failed). I also had a hysteroscopic resection just before the
ivf
round for a fibroid. It has been more than a month, and the pains feel like a constant ache in my ovaries.

Transfer day 4BB
Just had my third and final transfer of
IVF
round 1 (no frosties left) and just want to say good luck to all those in the same position right now and sending you lots of good vibes and sanity for the two week wait 😊 I'm mentally prepared for starting round 2 in summer and am making all my summer plans

Anyone get a positive pregnancy test with zero symptoms after FET transfer?
This time I'm afraid to test on my own and get a negative because I can't afford more
IVF
cycles. I have to wait 5 more days for my official beta test at clinic, but this was a hatching blastocyst so I assume it should have implanted right now.

4w3d loss of symptoms
I am very early following
IVF
, never been pregnant before and my anxiety is through the roof. My tests are super strong with ‘dye stealers’ on pink dyes but I’m petrified of having a chemical and this has been made worse by loss of symptoms.

Changes
What did you change in the lead up to your
IVF
cycle? I'm due to start stims in a few weeks - I already take all the supplements required (have been for months now), I have acupuncture every fortnight, reflexology the weeks in between. I have two daily cups of coffee, the rest decaf.

”What I wish I had known about IVF”
Hi, the Big Fat Negative podcast duo are hosting an instagram live next Wednesday 31 Jan, 7.30-8.15 pm UK. I find them really relatable and honest about their fertility issues They are co-hosting with independent fertility expert Professor Tim Child who MiniCeeCeeposted about yesterday for his Q&A live

Can you just get your fallopian tubes checked?
I am very lucky to have a 2 year old daughter but it took us a long time to conceive and we were about to start
IVF
so now I'm worried about secondary infertility (I'm also 38). TTC makes me very anxious and stressed so I'm trying to have whatever element of 'control' is possible....
