I am on my third round of IVF with donor eggs and I had my fet on Thursday. Friday my clinic got in touch to say progresterone was on the lower side (36.2nmol/) and they would like to sub my Cyclogest three times per day with 1 daily lubion injection. These injection were supposed to arrive by courier today & the company cocked up & I still haven’t received them and now not likely that they will arrive before a Monday! What can I do? I have taken an extra Cyclogest in the meantime! I am so worried that this is now going to cause implantation failure 🤬 Has anyone had something similar happen & still come out with a BFP?
thanks x

I had exactly the same thing! In fact it was a bit worse as my clinic had forgotten to call me until 3dpt to tell me my progesterone results so I had even longer before I took the extra injections. My clinic said my options were to come into the clinic and they could give me some to cover the couple of days in between but it was over a 3 hour round trip and I wasn't sure I'd make it to them before they closed anyway. My consultant also said progesterone fluctuates a lot naturally and what's important is a good level on average over a few days, so his view was missing a couple if days of injections wouldn't matter. He also said women get pregnant naturally at much lower levels than they try to achieve in IVF and what they wanted to see was a gradual increase and weren't bothered about relatively low levels at first. So I waited and had at least a couple of days with just the pessaries before the injections arrived and that transfer was successful. So I know it's really worrying and the stress of the late courier was awful, but it still worked for me.
Thank you so much for replying 🤗 As if the whole process isn’t anxiety inducing enough!! And these things always happen over the weekend so there is nothing I can do until Monday but keep my fingers crossed 🤞🏻
Congratulations on it working for you! Wonderful news 🙌🏻
