MTFHR and possible immune disorder

hello everyone,

I have been down and frustrated to say the least on this journey. IVF seems to have taken over my life.

I spoke to a doctor in US to get a second opinion was I wasn’t happy with my old clinic.

I am going to be 44 and I have been told by this doctor that I may have premature ovarian ageing or POA. I got a PRP treatment to improve my AMH and FSH which it did to a certain extent but what I am worried about now is the transfer!

he said to me if you down regulate at this age and with a very low AMH it will completely shut down my ovaries. In addition to this he also said that I may have an aggressive immune system and he has recommended an extended immune panel for me.

Everything seems to be getting harder and impossible. Has anyone been told not to downregulate and is in a similar situation? Please do let me know 🙏🏻.

Hi. My thoughts would be to be less aggressive. A milder approach would hopefully produces a few eggs to work with. Hopefully they will fertilise successfully. Thinking of you. Diane
