Irregular bleeding

Hi all,

Currently experiencing a very heavy period only a week after my last one? Complete with sore breasts, cravings etc. I've had a copper coil on for past 4 years and never had any irregular periods so I'm very worried.

Recent bloods show thyroid levels 'normal',but antibodies very raised, and free T3 is 3. 9.

Any advice would be great. Had Dr consultation yest, but didn't seen very concerned and told me it was likely 'hormonal inbalance'.

Hi. I’m 48. How old are you? Could you be peri menopausal? I’ve just been diagnosed. Did a blood test of female reproductive hormones plus got a PAP smear after having a 12 day period. Seriously. What is going on. Could you be in the same position?

I'm only 35. I had a smear few months ago that came back normal.

Good the smear came back ok. I would make a dr appt and talk first about what’s happening symptom wise. So U will need to think about what you are experiencing and make a list. Ask if u can be tested. Day 3 of the cycle is best so I’ve read but I did my test on day 9 of my cycle. Sometimes it’s a process of elimination. Frustrating as buggery though. Wishing U luck.

No I haven't, I have a phone consultation this morning with Dr. So I might mention that. My anxiety is through the roof thinking on the worst causes.

There have been reports of irregular bleeding after Covid jab; just a thought.
