Ovary vs bowel

I had my ovary removed during a c section because it had a cyst as big as the ovary. Pathology came back clear. Five years later I’m being seen for heavy menstruation. IUD fell out. Had a D&C. Currently using progesterone to try and control the bleeding because I have low iron anemia. Recently I was reading my doctors notes for the ultra sound and there was measurements for my left and right ovary. When I asked he said it probably was bowel looking like an ovary. This seems strange to me. Anyone else?

Well, hope you had a good Christmas. I really don't know if you have a problem or not but I had very heavy menstruation all my life and I think if I had sorted this out I might not have OC now. Ask your GP whether you need an ablation. This is a surgical procedure. I avoided it and wish I hadn't. Best of luck and try not to worry. xx
