Sickle cell and?
I have sickle cell disease and just found out I have chronic fatigue syndrome also called ME. I wanted to find out what other conditions people are dealing with plus sickle cell and how you cope. I have 3 children so I guess you will have an idea as to how I am struggling to cope.

Palliative Care
Nothing more to do palliative care it is just trying to live my best life possible. So I went to immeadiate care cause I felt I needed antibiotics and I got them and prednisone but also chest X-ray. Chest X-ray showed an area that could possibly be a cancer but I would be unable to with stand surgery

Willing to help you with a kidney
My dad had liver cancer in 2004 and got a liver transplant. The anti rejection medication he have been taking is great thanks to the anonymous donor who showed up at the right time and gave my dad a liver . he made a difference in my dad's life I wish to do the same and I am going to donate my kidney

Copd and lung transplant
Last time I I saw my consultant he mentioned having a transplant I sort of froze. I have read about it on as much as I dare. Suppose I'm scared. How long are you in hospital how successful is the op. How long are you in hospital for.

Stem Cell Transplants
https://mpnforum.com/nicrev Hope this link works. Interesting interview about Stem Cell Transplant risk:reward and timing. I thought quite reassuring, especially since odds improving all the time. Five year survival rates are based on transplants pre 2013. The odds and risks should be even better by

Terrible bruising
Hi everyone, I have a history of bad health ie. Liver Transplant, arthritis, colitis and aplastic anemia. On top of this about 5 years ago I developed permanent AFib and about this time bruising became a problem to the back of my hands almost up to my elbows, this has now become permanent and any slight

Lungs are a go-go after encouraging lung check-up
On Wednesday I had my first lung function tests since my pneumothorax back in January. Today I went through the results with my new consultant who told me the brilliant news that there had been no change to my lung capacity or transfer based. The consultant also told me that based on Wednesday's results

Questions about Protein and Supplements for weight training after transplant
Hi, I'm new on this site and had a general question for those who are athletic and have had a kidney transplant. I have had a very successful kidney and pancreas cadaver transplant for about 9 years now. I am becoming more active and spending more time in the gym. I've been reading the common literature

Multi visceral operation?
I've had chronic liver failure for 2 years now. All down to alcoholism. I can with hand on heart say I haven't had a drink since finding out and when I made the decision to stop, I did and don't miss it. I was drinking 2 litres of spirit a day. My main problem is ascities, lack of appetite, tiredness

He recently emerged from coma is very weak and is still not able to speak or utter any sound

Expensive Holistic Options to stop UTI's and works!

But there is this problem I have with UTI's and finally after 3 decades I went to a urologist at UCSF. My question is...it seems like there is no cure for this. they
