Hello, does how quickly you feel better after initial b12 injection(s) and iron infusion depend on your deficiencies severity?

It's different for everyone .Yes it does depend on severity of symptoms.

I felt alot worse before any improvements thd nerves began to repair.

Also i think longevity of deficiency snd ones age .

Just make sure you get the frequency of b12 injections you need.

Usually 6 loading .

Then every other day if neurological symptoms.

8-12 weekly .

Wd all seem to need different regimes

Thank you. I suspect I’m just feeling the buzz of being listened to and having help but I feel better already!

at first, i felt better immediately. then it got worse again and i felt much better after 2 months of weekly injections. that lasted for a few months without any injections until i started feeling like crap again. this time i started back onto weekly injections but it took a year until i felt close to normal. been on weekly injections ever since and although there are periods where i dont feel as good, generally speaking i feel good as long as i dont push myself too hard with strenuous activity.

Thank you, that’s interesting. I’ve read it’s a long process and one that needs to be maintained. My expectations around feeling better are around two months but I wondered why I felt so good after two days 😂. Thank you for responding.

my advice would be not to do what I did, which is stop supplementation after feeling better. keep it at a frequency that is right for you and it will take time to know what that is. also, dont get discouraged if you do have spells where you feel bad. have faith that things will improve again.
