Please can you give me some advice? I would like to begin taking Estrogen (Lenzetto spray) and Progesterone (Utrogestan) again. I am fearful though, when I began taking it last time my TSH went up to 28 so had to stop taking it. I was taking it a few hours in a morning after my thyroid meds; perhaps the gap in between wasn't long enough?
I take my thyroid medication in three doses; 7am, 11am and 4pm. I also take B12, Folate, Vitamin D and K2 spray (Better You brand), two Ferrous Fumarate tablets and get my Selenium from 3 Brazil nuts a day
I usually take my iron tablets at bedtime, which is well away from the thyroid medication.
In terms of the B12 and Folate I try to take this during the day as and when but trying to leave a gap from the thyroid meds. When would be best to take these two meds and can they be taken together? Is it ok to take B12 and Folate around same time as thyroid medication?
I understand that the Better You brand of Vit D with K2 doesn't have to be kept away from thyroid meds due to it being sub-lingual?
If I was to add the Estrogen and Progesterone would this be ok to take together at bedtime, taking into consideration that I take Iron at that time?
Thank you!

I take the progesterone at bedtime. I was told to put the oestrogen on in the morning. I assume it wouldn’t interfere with the Levo because it is being applied on the skin v swallowing it. I do know some people who split their Oestrogen between morning and evening because they are on a large dose and find it easier to tolerate.
I do my B and D in the middle of the day to keep it away from the Levo. I take the Levo immediately on waking and start a timer so I don’t have anything before the hour is up.
I am sure others will opine on whether this is optimal or not.
Regarding HRT, it may be useful to have a look at Dr Louise Newson’s free Balance App, as I find it really useful for comparing HRT medications & having up to date research articles. There is also an ability to post questions.
Better You vitamin D3/K2 is sublingual and can be taken any time.
I take progesterone at night and Levo in the morning and have had no interactions taking this at same time as oestrogel. Some members report needing slightly more levo when taking oestrogen, but conversely I’ve actually needed less.
Do check thyroid levels 6-8 weeks after commencing HRT.
Take B vitamins at least 2 hours away from Levo (I take mine at midday and Levo on waking).
You have good advice about timing above. Just bear in mind that you may well need to adjust your thyroid medicine after restarting the HRT.
Some will say that this is not true for transdermal oestrogen that you rub on your skin. But I had to increase mine when using oestrogel as felt tired after a short while and found that blood levels had dropped.
