iron and b12 test results

How am I doing with iron and b12?

i posted before about my thyroid results and have reduced my Levo a tiny amount pending testing again in a few weeks time

I now have the rest of my results (minus ferritin and folate ) from MMH.

I can see that my iron and b12 are not dire but neither are they optimal.

I supplemented b12 about a year ago as my serum b12 had been in the 300 range and continued with b complex when the b12 finished. I’m more or less vegetarian so wanted to know if I need to supplement continually.

I’ve never supplemented iron but always have results at the low end of the range.

My hbA1c is 42, so not so good but not sure if I need to take action (I’m 70).

I've never tested these with MMH so I'm not familiar with their ranges

As you say transferrin saturation looks low at 26% but total iron mid range (using Medichecks range)

B12 not bad, need to continue supplementing as vegetarian, B complex is a good option

Vit D is good

HbA1C at 42 is on the cusp of pre diabetic.... are you careful not to overdo the carbs, sweet treats and alcohol? Losing weight can help if you have any extra 🤷‍♀️
