Medichecks bloods with some very low/high bloods. Appt with GP 4th March to discuss.
My wife's bloods are still way off. It's listed below. She recently had a nasty bug on 29th December and feels shes still a bit chesty. She also developed a rash on the top front of her chest which was treated with hydrocortisone (Daktacort) but still feels there's a little left there. Still tired,

Private Blood Test Results
Hello, Diagnosed with Hashimoto’s 2019, it was a long and sickly road to diagnosis and treatment. Levothyroxine only didn’t work for me and after a couple of not so great endo appointments I finally found a really good endocrinologist who agreed to add in liothyronine and commenced me on 20mcg

High Transferrin Saturation without optimal iron levels
Hello, I am currently trying to get my iron levels up and they are slowly creeping in the right direction. However. My latest bloods show that my TSAT is now too high at 65% (up from 39% two months ago), and ferritin at 70ug/L (up from 65ug/L.) Is this just something to monitor for now?

Hi everyone, I've posted here before regarding subclinical hypothyroidism, not sure what is causing it. I've ruled out celiac disease, I'm trying to take iron and b12 everyday, but still my tsh is consistently high. My GP has agreed to trial 25mg levothyroxine. I'm really worried after reading how

Question on NHS Coverage.
If a person in the UK hires a physician say at the Iron Clinic in Cambridge can that physician order tests and those tests are covered by NHS?

Just a little rant
One thing I have learned since being diagnosed with Osteo is that this medical condition is a money maker for big pharma. I would encourage everyone to look up publication on actual studies done around the world with men and women with osteo and what they were given naturally along with calcium supplementation

How to prepare for my thyroid test?
Hi all, I’m on the following routine and wondered what I should do with my thyroid medication the day before the test: First dose: 3am - 125mcg Levo, 5mcg - T3 Second dose: 11am - 2.5mcg T3 I will do the test around 8am ensuring I’ve only had water. So should I NOT take the 11am T3 dose the day

stop wasting TIME , MONEY and SUFFERING Use iron infusions first line for those whose ferritin is suitable
Doctors please top wasting time , money and suffering… Use iron infusions first line for those whose ferritin is = or >75ug/L (plus other parameters are ok TSATs etc TIME because they relatively quickly find out who are the 60% ‘iron responders’. If you are one, then great, get on with iron plus any

New blood test results, low vitamins, advice please
i test every 6 months. I started taking Armour 1/4 grain in May because my consultant (listed in Thyroid UK directory) thought my FT3 was low in range. I had to change to Thyreogland (from a pharmacy in Munich) because i can’t get Armour delivered to France post-Brexit. I take Thyreogland twice a day

Ferritin and TSI results.
Hi, I haven’t posted for a while as I have been investigated following a positive faecal occult blood test. They have found a large polyp in my caecum which I am having removed on Friday. For some unknown reason, I have had a few months of remission from my RLS but now they are ‘kicking off’ again.
