Test results. Can you advise please.
After great advice on this forum regarding my thyroid nodules, I requested from my GP surgery the same tests as are provided in the Blue Horizon Golden Thyroid Test. The clinician seemed to want to help and I thought almost everything would be tested. However, these are my results and, as is clear

Postnasal drip / Supplements
2 question - is post nasal drip a symptom of hashi’s. Have had it for months and can’t seem to get rid of it? I will be taking new blood tests in few weeks and am not taking supplements. As far as magnesium, iron etc., I’m trying to get these through food daily and also trying the liver once a

what is it this time?
Ok, so I’ve been SI for just under a month, moving from twice weekly to about EOD following symptoms response. I was initially taking 3mg folic acid each morning with food along with magnesium at night. Two days ago I bought a new brand of folic and increased my dosage to 5mg (following recommendations

Finally on opioids and it's not working
So after da augmentation, no results with gabapentin and two unsuccessful iron infusions I finally got a doctor to give me Tramadol. I'm aware buprenorphine is a better option and I'm pushing for that, but meanwhile, the 50mg of Tramadol is not doing anything. How long should I wait to increase the dose

Running low on iron
I have been put on Ferrous Sulphate but I can’t use it. My blood test for ferritin is 44 ug/L & it is only that high because I ate red meat I did do in desperation because the test last year was 10ug/L. I am vegetarian & I have great difficulty eating meat it seems to be hard to process for me. Anyhow

Is thyroid causing my symptoms?
Hi all, I’m looking for some advice about my blood test results and whether thyroid issues could be the cause of my symptoms. Also if anyone can recommend a doctor in Cardiff / South Wales I’d really appreciate it. I’ve spent years trying to manage and believing (being told) my symptoms are due to anxiety

Back Trauma significantly worsening RLS - anyone else?
Running through some posts on this board, I followed a thread to this website: https://www.rlshelp.org/. Within it, there is a section where he writes, "There have been many anecdotal reports of patients developing RLS (or having very significant worsening of their pre-existing mild RLS) after surgery

I have PPMS.
I have PPMS. I take stock every year of what I've lost since the previous year. It's been 20 years since I noticed the progression, but ignored it for years. I was an avid golfer. I first noticed that I couldn't hit my 6 iron (favorite fairway iron) like I used to and used to joke that I must have

Skin allergy to hydroxocobalamin injections?
I had hydroxocobalamin prescribed by a private Dr a couple of years ago alongside an iron infusion. I have positive parietal cell antibodies and stomach inflammation showed on a endoscopy so it's autoimmune gastritis related B12 deficiency and will therefore be lifelong as with true pernicious anaemia

Ferritin 52, hashimoto’s and post menopausal
My ferritin is 52 and I’ve just gone 12 months without a period. Also, I have hashimoto’s and a year ago my antibodies were >1000. Shouldn’t my ferritin be high as I assume I have inflammation because of hashimoto’s? A year ago my ferritin was 48, haemoglobin 134 and iron panel fine.

I joined this group 4-5 months ago. You guys are changing my life.❤️ No exaggeration. Your feedback and support have helped me so much in such a short period of time. I wish everyone here could also experience the positive results I've seen in the past few months. Because of the recommendations, resources

Daily multivitamins do not help people live longer, major study finds
The taking of general multivitamins has long been questioned here on this forum. The article specifically identifies iron: Meanwhile iron, which is added to many multivitamins, can lead to iron overload and raise the risk of cardiovascular disease, diabetes and dementia. I think we'd also advocate

Should I keep pushing to be tested? Or are the doctors right?
Hi there, I am really struggling. I have always felt like something was not right about my menstrual cycle. I’m now 22, and have been bleeding consistently and sometimes heavily since December 2023. This is the worst it has ever been, and I finally decided to seek treatment for something I have ignored
