I am 22 years old and have been on the marina coil for a year and a half now. Recently I have being getting my periods and I'm worried because I havent been on for a full year. I have started taking metformin because I have pcos. Has any one else had this before? Is it normal? And this week I've started

Hyterscopy and miruena coil
Hello - like to know your experience of having a hyesterscopy - been told a few paracetamol all that is needed and also fit a miruena coil. Apparently I have Adenomyosis (as well as stage iv endo which I knew about) but wants to exclude womb cancer. Is this true it doesn’t hurt? Also any experiences

High heart rate since mirena iud removal
Has anyone else experienced this? It’s been 2 weeks since I had mine removed and I seem to be having a hard time getting my heart rate to act nice since. I was very well controlled on 25 mg a day of metropolol until this , hardly any pvcs any more ( which is still the case thank goodness) I have increased

IUI cancelled - should i take norethisterone
i have had my IUI cycle cancelled as yesterday on baseline they discovered 2 cyst 21mm and 27mm. they have advised me to take norethisterone to prevent it growing and for them to hopefully clear by the next round. i am convinced that the clomid and other hormones i took produce the cyst. should i go

Iui and cramps
Dear all, I went for my iui last Monday. Wednesday onwards I starting getting mild cramps that comes and goes. Yesterday night was bad cause the pain radiated to my anus and left legs. The pain is usually on the left side where my endometriosis is. I have mild endometriosis on the left side of my womb

Mirena Coil Removal
Hi, I’ve had the mirena coil for a few years now but would like it to be removed. I went to my GP a few months ago to ask for it to be removed and they said that I have to go back and see a gynaecologist for it to be removed as they won’t be able to do it due to the fact I had the coil inserted whilst

So I had my final IUI on 26th of August, with my test day set for 2 weeks later. The day before my test day, I came on my period and was heart broken. I didn’t even bother taking a pregnancy test and just got on with life. Then on Tuesday I started feeling weird, couldn’t keep food down, was really

37yr +blocked tube + male mobility issues...what’s next?
Hi all - new here. I did and hsg that showed a blocked Fallopian tube, my bloodwork was all good, and a bit of endometriosis plus my partner has taken two tests both showing sperm motility issues. I am already 37 and have been trying for almost two years. Originally the dr mentioned starting clomid and

How many iuis can one take? Should we throw in the towel?
Hello all, hoping to hear about your experiences so maybe I can learn a thing or two from them. Just confirmed 3rd failed iui by beta. Spotting started also today. I knew I was out though a few days ago. We’re on a list for funded ivf but that’s months of not >1 year away. We can’t afford to do it

Cerazette and cysts
Hello, i was wondering if cerazette is any good for helping manage with cysts and the pain that comes with them? They've taken my coil out and changed me to the mini pill as im in so much pain. They've found a 6cm blood filled cyst in a pocket behind my womb and on 1 of my ovaries on a scan. Still waiting

I am still desperate to have a baby at this very late stage, and need some encouragement.... Has anyone got pregnant after the age of 48, either naturally or through IUI, IVF, or donor egg? I would love to hear your stories for some encouragement. Thank you!

Long time suffering!
I was diagnosed at 19 with PCOS and am now 26. I always suffered with it but I fell pregnant last June and went forward with a medical termination. I had such an ordeal for about 6 months of an incomplete termination, infections, severe severe bleeding (through pregnancy liners and super heavy tampons

Mirena coild removed, scan showing still there
Bt of back story, long term mirena user but after having it replaced during surgery last year i had horrendous pain. Went to hospital where had to have it removed as it was coming out, at the same time a new one was put in. A week later still in pain i went back and had it removed. Both times awake

Pain post op after cyst removal
Morning, i’m a new member and just looking for some reassurance post op. I had emergency surgery to remove a 10cm cyst on my right overy, which ended up with the removal of the overy and tube on 3rd September. The pain from the small incision sites on my right side and belly button seem to be settling

Marina coil. Removed and best my arthritis has been for years
My friend had a marina coil and within months was being diagnosed with fibromyalgia. I did a bit of Internet searching and as a result had mine removed about 3 or 4 years ago. I then stopped my medication and although I wouldnt say I'm cured I haven't had a flare up in my knees since. I have just recently

Recently had a laparoscopy but found no endo or cause for pain, what next?
Hi everyone, I had an emergency diagnostic laparoscopy on 30th July 2020 and a Mirena coil fitted. My surgeon found no endometriosis or any cause for my physical pain, just that my bowel seemed a little full. The coil seems to have made things worse. I'm so lost and I don't know where to go from here
