Evening everyone,

So cut a long story short. Me and my gf have been through iui 4 times. 1 2 and 3 iui Failed. 4th one was 22nd sept. 7th October nurse phoned with results of blood test. Low positive hcg scoring 21. Next day my gf got her period!

Got told it could be chemical pregnancy so monitored us by getting more bloods done few days later. Second blood test hcg levels 91. Fertility nurse wanted us back in for more blood test couple days later hcg level 135. Monday 19th October another blood test and hcg level 972!!

We are so confused anxious and happy at the same time we thought low hcg was a bad sign and now it’s rocketed up. We have a scan tomorrow at the clinic to make sure everything is ok as we got told it’s been a chemical pregnancy and my partner got her period . She’s also been spotting since Sunday on and off brown spotting is this normal ??

We took a test tonight and got this dark line within 30 seconds. I really hope this scan tomorrow shows a heartbeat and everything is all good. Wish us luck 🤞🤞

Hi Lauren, I wish you all the best! I don't want to confuse you more, but I had spotting and erratic HCG levels when I had an ectopic pregnancy. I really wish you're not in this situation!

Update! So had our scan and unfortunately there wasn’t a baby to be seen 😔 had another blood test to check hcg level and will get the result tomorrow to see if it’s went up and if it’s went up then the egg has fertilised somewhere else in the body. What a nightmare

Yea no baby so I just wish the hcg levels to be low now. As we would need to go to hospital to see why the hcg is rising
