My wife ate pineapple for a week after iui and we got a bfp but ended in miscarriage at 7 weeks..I’ve read that you haven’t to have intercours after egg transfer as it causes the uterus to contract and may cause implantation to fail so I’m thinking if pinapple dose that too then is it not a good idea this time..What dose everyone think? Our treatment isn’t for a while yet but just trying to plan ahead and keep busy..🙈🙉

Hello hope you are good. Yes during my ivf I avoided pineapple as I was told it's not good. My sister took it whilst pregnant and it did nothing to her.

Pls to be on the safe side avoid it totally and sex as well. I avoided sex as well because I didn't want to ruin my ivf chances. But it work for some people and don't work for some people as well.

Wishing you all d best.
