Mri safety

I was wondering if there is anyone in this group who had an iud. I had to get off my pills because of a dairy allergy and they have lactose. I’m thinking of an IUD and have looked up Research on if it’s safe in an mri. I am getting conflicting research. I’ll speak with neuro when I have my zoom call but primary just gave me links to look up

I have the paraguard iud.. the copper one. Have had no problems with it or the MRI!😁🤗💕👻

I have a Mirena IUD. Ok for MRIs - I specifically asked before getting it.

I should have asked at my last mri. I feel like they’d be better at telling me

It timed out that I had an MRI a couple weeks before getting the iud. I asked the MRI techs too, knowing that was going to be happening. I didn't want to end up with something that wasn't MRI friendly.

I had a negative experience years ago with a loop device. It became implanted in the lining of my uterus.
