Push for higher dose of menopur?
Hi all My first time posting :-) I'm 36 with low AMH (somewhere between 4.6-6 pmol/l, I have tested three times and had different results!). My first round of IVF was cancelled in February pre egg collection due to me ovulating unexpectedly (apparently this is really unusual and they don't really know

Letrozole
Hi, i have been prescribed Letrozole to induce ovulation. I have been TTC for three years with PCOS. I was given norethisterone to start a period as i hadn't had one in over 6 months and then given 5mg of Letrozole to take on days 3-7. Currently on CD 12 and taken my first lot of Letrozole as planned

Contraception
Hi All, Does anyone with Hashimoto’s have any experience of hormonal contraception? I’ve got a copper coil but since having it my periods are 12 days long and heavy. I’ve always had issues with breakthrough bleeding on pills in the past - the mini pill made me have 100 day periods! Plus I’m scared of

Messed up period with IUI
So I had my first medicated IUI in January 2021 and unfortunately it failed. I was on progesterone up until I took a pregnancy test which was negative and 2 days after coming off my period came. It was a heavy bleed for the first day and then settled down for a few days. I was due to start my next round

Does anyone have experience of the Mirena reducing back pain?
Does anyone have any experience of the Mirena coil improving constant pain rather than just cyclical pain? I had an internal ultrasound yesterday and the doctor said she didn’t see any obvious signs of disease and gave me no other advice other than just to try the mirena. I was pretty disappointed with

2nd round IUI
Hi, I had my first round of IUI in January using donor sperm. I’m single and just want to achieve my dream of becoming a mum. Unfortunately first round didn’t work despite having no known fertility issues. I’m now starting my second round and just wondered if there’s anyone else out there who’s had success

Mirena IUD
Interested to know if a Mirena IUD is safe to have if you have Nash. I have read conflicting reports. I have only just had it inserted but apparently the hormones can have an affect on the liver?? I would have researched it prior but after having post menopausal bleeding I was ushered into hospital without

Is copper coil a good method after depo provera?
I’ve had 2 depo provera shots and have recently become incredibly anxious and depressed (crying constantly for no real reason) which is really sad as I had been raving about the injection in the first 18 weeks. I’m looking into the copper coil as it has no hormones, can anyone recommend or let me know

Help make a drug to treat GvHD available to patients
You can help make a drug to treat GvHD available to patients in Canada, regardless of where you live. CLL Canada, along with an alliance of 8 other blood cancer organizations, is preparing patient input submissions for the Canadian Agency for Drugs and Technologies (CADTH) and Institut national d'excellence

Could it be pregnancy?
So I have the copper coil and have done for nearly 4 years now. My partner and I never use contraception due to being in a long term relationship. Since having the coil fitted I’ve always been regular with my periods and have apps to track it, however I’m now 4 days late and it’s really strange as I’

Auto Stem Cell transplant?
Hi, Curious to know if anyone out there has had R-chop, then relapsed and the next line of treatment recommended was SCT? I've been battling Marginal Zone lymphoma (2016), transformed to DLBCL (2018) and now it's back again. The auto process sounds very scary (dangerous), and with a 30-50% success rate

Suspected endo - any advice?
Hey guys, Hope you are all keeping well. I've just had a consultation with a gynaecologist yesterday regarding some fibroids they found last year through an ultrasound. She was really lovely and empathetic, said she has similar issues herself and like me, didn't't get on too well with cerazette, which

Hi! First post, can anyone offer any advice please?
Hi! My names Sam, I’ve been on here for a while but first time posting! I got diagnosed with endometriosis in may 2019 after many years of problems. I’ve had 3 laparoscopies within 18 months and tried different pills and stuff to stop my periods, but they never seem to agree with me and my periods still

Appointment - coil/pills
Hi guys, I’ve got my second gynae telephone appointment this evening. I know they’re going to want me to have the coil but I’m really reluctant to for a couple of reasons. 1. Even having a speculum for smear is very painful so I’m terrified insertion will be excruciating and 2. I’ve heard you can have
