Interested to know if a Mirena IUD is safe to have if you have Nash. I have read conflicting reports. I have only just had it inserted but apparently the hormones can have an affect on the liver?? I would have researched it prior but after having post menopausal bleeding I was ushered into hospital without really leaving me time to get a second opinion.

I don't know anything about that issue, but with advanced liver disease bleeding is a risk factor so that is something to be asking about. Perhaps someone here has better info on the specifics.
