Any experiences of full or partial hysterectomy?
Hi all I’m new to the forum and wondered if there’s anyone who has had a full or partial hysterectomy who is open to sharing their experiences? I’ve had endometriosis for the past 20 years and have had two previous surgeries. The coil gave me a few years break from the symptoms but they have since worsened

Cannot go on
Hello all I hope you are all coping better than myself. Not looking for sympathy or playing the victim card but I am at the end of my rope. Symptoms since Thursday - - extremely tired and cannot seem get rid of tiredness no matter how much I sleep. - pain when urinating deep inside as well as when passing

Mirena pain/discharge
I don't have an endo diagnosis but it is suspected and I have had the coil fitted today to help with the pain. Is it normal to have brown discharge/bleeding almost immediately after insertion (Less than 2 hours later)? Also, the fitting was extremely painful, especially the speculum being inserted/opened

What type of contraceptive is best with endometriosis?
I'm new here and need some advice. I've been advised by GP that I might have endometriosis after years of painful periods, following an unnecessary operation in October. They've prescribed me on Cerelle since November, and it hasn't done much different. I am on my period for a long period of time, and

Introduction of myself, PMF, from China
Hi, I'm Qi, from China, I'm 34 years old this year. I confirmed PMF in 2017. At that time, the splenomegaly was high, but it was not very high, and it was not so high all the time. These symptoms began to happen to me one after another as early as 2013. JAK2V617F gene mutation, there is only one mutation

Coil Removal due to Mental Health
Hi I’m turning to here because I feel like I have nowhere else to go I’m 20 with a one year old and I had the Mirena coil fitted mid February. Physically everything was fine apart from mild cramping, however it wasn’t the one I wanted!! I asked and thought I had the copper coil fitted until I got home

Comfortable.....
In July last year I was given the coil and had numerous problems which meant I was put on the pill AS WELL. This sorted out all problems for me and I haven’t had any bleeding for months! But I am worried I’m becoming to comfortable on both of these and question if I should try and come off of the

2WW IUI
6dp insemination and I never imagined this 2WW would be soooo challenging! Trying to keep my thoughts preoccupation outside of working hours is tough. I'm looking at the TV but not engaged. Line of Duty has been the only thing that's captured my attention. I started reading a book but didn't get past

Is there a limit or risk to having multiple consecutive IUDs?
My second consecutive IUD is due to expire in August and I’m so confused about what to do next. I love having an IUD and it’s definitely the perfect contraceptive option for me. However I am unable to find much online about having IUDs consecutively. Does my body need to have a break? Are there risks

IUI/IVF timings — Lean PCOS infertility
Hi everyone, I have “Lean PCOS” (I assume it’s “Lean” as I have none of the other physical symptoms of excess hair/weight gain) and as a result only have a period maybe once a year, if I am lucky. I had an ultrasound about 2/3 years ago confirming it which counted a large number of ‘cysts’ on each ovary

IUD with prolapse
Has anyone ever had copper coil fitted with a womb prolapse...I did and was told by my doctor that it was as effective as it would be with no prolapse but now I have a late period and thinking my doctor was maybe wrong

IUD removal
I’ve just had my IUD removed today as my recent smear had identified that it was no longer in place - thank god for my smear! After having an ultrasound to locate it, the nurse was able to remove it today. I’ve had some bleeding and am suffering with cramps, I just wanted to know if this was normal

Iui to ivf
Hey guys, I have a wee question if anyone is able to give me a wee bit of advice please. I've been told iui isn't going to work for myself and my husband so we are moving to ivf. Does anyone know roughly what the wait time is going from iui to ivf? Thank you 😊

Nothing is working anymore
Hi, just needing some advice. I was diagnosed in 2017 and have since been taking a vast range of meds. In July 2020, I was in A&E for multiple nights with pain and was told I may have Pelvic Inflammatory Disorder. I had antibiotics and everything but that pin has never gone away. At the moment, my painkillers
