#WellnessWednesday What's the deal with TMS for OCD?
Hey everyone, If there's one thing we get a lot of questions about, it's TMS. YES! Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation. If you haven't heard this term before, here is a quick explanation of what TMS is:
TMS is a non-invasive way of “stimulating” (or changing) activity in the brain using magnetic fields

Sensitive post - early test after IUI
Hello! I had my 3rd IUI treatment 15 days ago. The doctor said ‘ideally’ wait until day 18 but when I explained that I have short cycles she said wait ‘at least 2 weeks’. This morning I tested on day 15 and got a BFP. I’ve been cautiously so happy since then but have only been able to get hold of the

First attempt at IUI
I had my first IUI on Saturday after only getting one strong follicle from stims in my first cycle of IVF. I had more follicles but this one was steaming ahead so it got to peak size and they didn’t want to take me to collection with only one so recommended IUI as didn’t want to lose the egg. It went

Three and a half years with Mantle cell lymphoma

As it had already spread from my lymph nodes to multiple organs I was immediately admitted to hospital and began six rounds of Nordic protocol chemotherapy, followed by a stem cell bone marrow transplant. Mirena Coil flipped upside down & embedded
Hi, has anyone been through something similar? So it has now been 3 attempts to remove my coil. Today they tried as a hysteroscopy with local anaesthetic, 20 mins in and in so much pain they gave up. When they had one last look with the camera they noticed the coil and flipped upside down, strings wrapped

Missing Mirena coil
Hello I’m wondering if anyone can help. I had a procedure on Saturday to remove a fibroid and to remove my Mirena coil. After the procedure the nurse advised that the marina coil wasn’t there. Yesterday I received a letter to say that I’d been discharged from the gynaecologist. This morning I called

Cancelled cycle due to 1 follicle and funding
Hi there, My partner and I have started our 1st cycle of IVF through the NHS and have reached a point where my partner has one follicle at 20mm. There were two at an earlier scan but one seems to have disappeared. We've been advised they won't proceed with collection with only one, but can look at going

IUI, cyclogest & lack of side effects
Hi everyone It’s my first post here. I’m day 8 of the 2ww following my 3rd IUI. This will be the final IUI - we’re now at the top of the wait list for IVF. Unlike my previous IUI treatments I’m using progesterone morning & evening. I expected to get a lot of side effects that feel similar to pregnancy

Mirena Coil Replacement Issues
Hey everyone! I’ve been on the Mirena Coil for a long time now and it was the best thing that I ever did. Only issue is it’s now expired... and all my pain and bleeding is coming back and getting worse and worse and I just feel so depressed because before the coil I would be bed bound due to the chronic

All of a sudden, a menstrual cycle after 10 years?
So I've been on the Mirena for about 6 years (had a new one put in last year) and before that I was on the Depo shot for 4 years. I haven't had my period in those 10 years I've been using these methods in order to control my endometriosis and associated pain. Recently in the last month and a half, I've

adenomyosis Diagnosis
I was diagnosed with endo 5 years ago and diagnosed with adenomyosis on Friday. The consultant told me I have good egg reserve for the moment so to take my coil out and try and get pregnant straight away because I will need a hysterectomy in a few years! I’m 34, single, no children and now I feel numb

Hi everyone, just found this site through the NHS app. Had cancer twice, had chemo plus stem cell transplant. I've been left with knee problems due to Lymphoma and have to use a stroller and wheelchair. The treatment I've had has led to a deep depression and anxiety as I no longer have my independence
