Missed period with coil.

Hi i was wondering if anybody has experienced a missed period with the copper coil. I am 2 weeks late and have had a negative pregnancy test result. But i am still worried that i am late for my period. I was wondering if this has happened to anybody before? Any advise would be a great help.

Hi, this happened to me about 2 months ago, then the following month, I spotted for 3 weeks. Got my coil checked, had a negative pregnancy test and was testers for std’s too just to rule it out, all came back fine and it was just chalked up to an “off month”. Our period likes to throw a tantrum at the slightest Things.. could be stress or weight gain/weight loss, or even a change in diet!

Thank you for replying back i feel reassured. I have been fasting for over 3 weeks due to ramadan so that might be why.

Sounds very likely! I really wouldn’t worry. Call you local sexual health clinic and they will check to make sure your coils fine ect then that will give you more reassurance

Absolutely. Fasting can do this.
