Successful Protocols for low amh ?

Have done 3 rounds:

First round 300iu menopur - 3 follies, 5 eggs retrieved, 3 fertilised, 2 5AA blasts - result MC

Second round 225iu Gonal F, 150 menopur - lots small follicles but only one lead, poor lining too - converted to IUI

Third round 325iu pergovaris - 3 follies, only one developing going to complete collection anyways as every follicle seems to be precious.

Planning 4th cycle have been told possibly to do a duostim which maybe converted to mini IVF depending on response with Menopur and Rekovelle

Just wondering of others experience's with successful cycles and protocols ? anyone any experience on rekovelle?

Hi letro. By now your clinic has a good idea as to how you have responded to the different treatments, so I am sure they will want this suggestion to work. Hope it goes well and you have success this time. Diane

Hi letro112. I've just had a positive pregnancy result, its early days so ive got everything crossed but i wanted to share my protocol with you. I'm 41 and my AMH is 0.5. I've had two rounds, first one included 2 weeks down reg, and then 450iu of Menopur for 12 days. I had 2 follicles, and 2 eggs collected, both were transferred on day 3 but no joy. Second round, I did 2 weeks of down reg, and used 10mg of testosterone gel on my arm for 3 weeks leading up to stims. I then used 450iu of Ovaleap for 12 days. I had 2 follicles again, 2 eggs collected, only 1 fertilised this times but it implanted. I still cant believe it, but it goes to show it only takes one golden egg! I did acupuncture throughout and i'm really wondering if the testosterone prep made a difference this time. Good luck, wishing you all the best xx

Massive congratulations .. it is true it only takes one please God our 1 follicle will yield a decent egg ... I see your doses were much higher than mine so might push for higher stims and more menopur the next time ..

Keeping all crossed that everything continues to go well for you xx

Wow congratulations Clarence this is amazing. I too am 41 with a AMH of 2.56 last year. I have moved clinics to a more natural/mild one. my last IVF cycle was cancelled due to my LH and FSH not in range. i have just had my first scan today on day 6 and we saw two follicles. they have advised me to not start the injections yet as my LH is 22. They will scan me again on monday and hopefully i can start the injections. do you think this process is a little stretched out in terms of stims? also did you recommend for the testosterone gel or was it recommend by your clinic? Any help would do. Thank you

Hi Rumi. I know I’m totally shocked. I’m not too sure what you mean about the process being stretched out with stims? When you say injections do you mean starting stims injections? I don’t know about the natural protocol as my protocol was maximum drugs. I was going to try natural Modified next If this round hadn’t worked so I don’t really know the process. As for the testosterone , I had researched it and it was a joint decision between me and the consultant. Initially the consultant said to start it with stims but after my own research I found evidence to suggest that the best results were produced when it was started 3 weeks prior to stims, so one week before I started my 2 week down reg. It apparently replaces the need to use dhea for 2-3 months. I hope that helps but please ask any questions you want.
