hcg levels

Hi, I had IUI 18 days ago and had blood test today that says i’m pregnant and HCG level is 117. I’m worried that is too low. I’m retesting on Wed but wondering if anyone has experience of things working out when the number was that low on day 18.

Hi mandp82Was this test carried out at the clinic? Ask them to explain the results to you - it will only take a minute and will put your mind at rest Also take it you are not bleeding that's a good sign in its self Good luck with results on Wednesday

Thanks for your reply. They did say it was ok but on the low side but need to see if it doubles. no bleeding yet. keeping everything crossed it progresses!

Would that be official test day? If so then my clinic says over 100 is a good level for OTD. x

No I had the test 4 days after OTD

It’s not about the first number, although over 100 is the aim. It’s about if it doubles.
