First attempt at IUI

I had my first IUI on Saturday after only getting one strong follicle from stims in my first cycle of IVF. I had more follicles but this one was steaming ahead so it got to peak size and they didn’t want to take me to collection with only one so recommended IUI as didn’t want to lose the egg. It went really well and was super easy and painless. Today though I’ve got low back ache and my ovaries are aching more, did anyone else experience this after IUI? It’s almost like ovulation pain but I did the trigger shot Friday morning so should have happened by now?

I've never had an IUI (though strongly considered it this cycle) - hoping you're doing well and aren't stressing too much I'm the dreaded waiting period. Wishing you some good luck x

Thank you, I’ve been fairly busy and I’m working also but can’t lie and say I’ve not been thinking about it a lot still! It’s so hard, this is my first one and was disappointed to have to abandon and do IUI but it is what it is, have to try again if this doesn’t work. I am totally analysing every pain and tbh I don’t think it’s worked but guess I’ll know for sure when AF turns up over the weekend. I saw you had some eggs collected yesterday so am keeping everything crossed for you that they do their thing today xx
