If there's one thing we get a lot of questions about, it's TMS. YES! Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation. If you haven't heard this term before, here is a quick explanation of what TMS is:
TMS is a non-invasive way of “stimulating” (or changing) activity in the brain using magnetic fields in the hopes of reducing OCD symptoms.

It should be noted that TMS is still currently being researched. While there is evidence to suggest that it could potentially be helpful in reducing OCD symptoms, it is not concretely proven to do so. It should be utilized as a last resort when all of the evidence-based treatment methods for OCD have already been accessed.
