Life can be an arse...
Well it’s been nearly a month since I had my transplant. I am eternally grateful to my donor and wish only the very best for their family. My new liver has settled in very well. I’m feeling better with every passing day. My specialists have all been very pleased with my progress. However... Life

Recovery after Pneomonia & sepsis
Thankfully it did & I was in

for 5 days. I've been told it'll be a hard 6 week recovery by Docs. What I'm concerned about is what damage would have been done to my lungs.

A little update on Lucy
All told she was in
Intensive
Care
for 21 days. Incredibly, she made a rapid recovery once the worst was over and we were discharged just in time for Christmas. It was a living hell but we are through it and she is looking stronger every day - this pic is 2 days ago.

Professor Graham Hughes' Blog January 2018
In Dr Elizabeth’s case, recovery was complete, probably because of the quality of the
intensive
care
treatment in Boston. Because the condition is so rare, guidance regarding the best treatment is limited.

ASCO Genitourinary Cancers Symposium (Phase II study of enzalutamide monotherapy with radiation therapy for intermediate risk PCa)
"Enzalutamide monotherapy with RT may be as effective as castrating ADT, and associated with fewer side effects. Larger, randomized trials are needed to further evaluate enzalutamide monotherapy, instead of ADT, to be used in combination with RT." "45 of 60 evaluable patients had a PSA <=0.2 at the end

WB Used DQ + Coke To Cure His PCa
When Warren Buffett was diagnosed with PCa he had IMRT. When he had a BCR he went on a diet of: 6 cokes per day - DQ double cheeseburgers with fries - DQ Milk Shake and a DQ Blizzard. PSA went to <.1 and has stayed there over 2 years. Now his study could be biased as he owns DQ and a huge amount of coke
