Question concerning drug induced lupus
I was diagnosed with drug induced lupus - a reaction to a biological drug,
infliximab
, which I had been receiving for over 6 months. I was told that with stopping the drug, the lupus would go too.

Self injection update - as promised
Thirdly, I am about to start a course of
infliximab
infusion for treatment for another health problem. It's a very strong and nasty drug which suppresses the immune system and I'm just concerned about this alongside the PA. has anyone else any experiences with these things?

Losing hope
I saw my Specialist today at Guy's...he told me I might not get better cos I haven't responded to immunosuppression and
Infliximab
. Being referred to Behcet's centre at Royal London Hospital but don't know how long I'll need to wait. I can't carry on feeling so ill.

New Drug worries. Any advice please 😀😀😀
I am due to be starting Certoliizumab ( Cimzia ) soon as
infliximab
is no longer effective for me. I am dreading starting something new after been on
Infliximab
for over 6 years. I was wondering what to expect from this drug good & bad please.

RA, the disease that keeps giving!
Because of a recent chest infection I've not been able to have my biologic drug,
Infliximab
, and now because of the infection in my hand it's been cancelled for a third time! I can barely move & in so much pain from my joints! Sorry for the very long preamble. Wishing you all well

Infliximab and Methotrexate
I've been on
infliximab
since March and on Methotrexate since June -I was told it would take at least 6 months for the
infliximab
to work. I was put on these meds after my last major flare up in March and taken off cellcept which didn't work for me.

life insurance
, but more interestingly if I was taking any of the following:- adalimumab, azathioprine, entercept,
infliximab
. lefumonide( is being considered by consultant) or rituximab.. now is this is because these are the drugs that increase health/ mortality risk as they carry their own risks, or do they think

self-treating hypothyroidism and Definitely Already had Rheumatoid Arthritis
I do get
Infliximab
treatment via I.V. at hospital every 8 weeks for Rheumatoid Arthritis and Ibuprofen for pain and it all seemed to begin with stress and stress seems to continue to exacerbate things. Inflammation is prevalent and lately I am unable to walk unaided.

Methotrexate and Infiximab
Ive been told that the
infliximab
takes 6 months to work and I've been having the infusions since March. I'm finding this very difficult -I cannot return to work at the moment and my quality of life is poor as I make plans to go out etc and then I just can't.
