Online Survey on biosimilars - Can you help a PhD Student at Keele University?

NRAS are please to support a PhD student in Pharmacy at Keele University, UK, Mohammed Aladul who is undertaking research into biosimilars. As part of this research he is conducting an online survey of patient’s opinions attitudes and experiences on infliximab or etanercept biosimilars. Your participation and answers will help to inform future educational initiatives and highlight important issues for prescribers, healthcare mangers, and other stakeholders.

If you have rheumatoid arthritis and are currently being treated on infliximab (Remicade, Remsima, Inflectra or Flixabi) or etanercept (Enbrel or Benepali) you are eligible to participate in this research. It takes less than 10 minutes to complete the questionnaires.

Your participation is entirely voluntary. The data collected in this study are entirely confidential, and the website used for data collection is secure in order to ensure confidentiality.

Is it just people who have RA that can participate? I have AS and on Benepali.

Pain wise, it's been great! Still get some pain in my knees and back but SO much better than it was. Still struggling a bit with fatigue and poor concentration, but overall I'm really pleased with how it's worked for me. Hopefully it will be the same for you!

Anyone on a biosimilars can take part

Sadly I took Benapali injection for 4 week before getting an Allergic reaction - Acute skin rash. I have had thsi with MTX and Sulfasalazine. I am now scared fo trying the next Biosimilar in three weeks time after the rash has cleared.
