I am due to be starting Certoliizumab ( Cimzia ) soon as infliximab is no longer effective for me. I am dreading starting something new after been on Infliximab for over 6 years. I was wondering what to expect from this drug good & bad please. I know we are not all the same but any information will be appreciated. I have been flaring for over 2 years one thing or another so fingers crossed this may be my new wonder drug 😀😀. New year. .new things to look forward to hopefully. Hoping everyone is coping well with the stresses of Christmas. Thankyou in advance. Happy & keep well at Christmas everyone 🎅🎅🎅

Hello

I recently switched to Cimzia and it is going well. I’m still doing the loading doses (2 injections every 2 weeks) and I’ve only had very mild side effects. I’m hoping it will continue to work once I drop down to the maintenance dose.

Good luck.

Good luck with the new meds. You can ask your consultant or GP for more information on the effectiveness and side affects etc. Best wishes to you.
