Has anyone had a Spirometry test recently?
Hello everyone, I'm just doing a bit of research to find out if NHS services are starting to do Spirometry tests again. I had a fairly mild case of Covid in April 2020 which has since left me with fatigue and breathlessness. I finally got a lung x-ray after switching GP surgeries back in June 2021

Covid and side effects
The Covid I had in August left me short of breath. So for me it became problematic to do physical activity and in particular the high intensity one. Has anyone observed this?

Recently diagnosed with Primary Myelofibrosis
Up until I caught Covid at the beginning of June 2022 I was fit, healthy and pretty active, always outdoors doing something like playing golf two or three times a week. I never really recovered from Covid although tested negative after two weeks. Since that time, I became more and more out of breath

Long covid and RA flare up
I've just been told I have long covid which appears to have aggravated the RA and now having cross over symptoms of both. Fatigue is usually part of a flare up for me but breathlessness, headaches and palpitations are new so are definitely long covid. Has anyone had similar and got any advice how to

Had to cancel my Lung function tests
To say I'm gutted is an understatement. After waiting sooo long for some answers I've had to cancel my appointment next week for a Full Lung Function Test & 6 minute walk test (never had this before) as I have a chest infection & currently taking Doxycycline. When I called the hospital they said they

ICU and osteoporosis
I have quite a basket of post-ICU/ECMO/covid/coma health issues, but the majority of them have been known to me since I left hospital, eg denuded lungs, heart, neurology issues, muscle waste, fatigue etc etc. However, a small bombshell has landed in my lap just recently. I have now also been diagnosed

I have booked in to have my 6th Covid booster this coming Friday 11th. However I now have a chest infection & was put on both antibiotics & prednisone tablets yesterday. Not typical PMR ?? Long covid related and back problem.
I posted a few months ago about my symptoms and you were very helpful with advice suggesting it might be long covid related as the symptoms appeared a week after getting covid. ESR levels were 57 and CPR 7 After being put on steroids they came down to normal levels quite quickly but the pains didn't

Difficult to Treat, Better Lying Down
Hi Everyone, I'm 68. I caught Covid in April 2022. I don't have long Covid. Rather, my body is affected by what happened to it during Covid. Since then my asthma has become considerably worse then it was before the infection. I'm on 250/10 Flutiform, 2.5 Spiriva Respimat, Montelukast and Salamol

Covid before transfer
hi, today I tested positive for covid, same day as I am meant to start my meds in preparation for a FET 😢 I figured based on history, in 25 days when it’s time for transfer, I should be completely better? I don’t want to take any risks as this is my last embryo but I do feel fine even now. Anyone had

Joint flare ups after Pfizer covid booster
Hi everyone, just wanted to ask if anyone has experienced joint inflammation flare ups after their covid booster. I had Pfizer last week and developed very bad upper neck pain, pain in wrists, elbows, upper back area. I had the Pfizer booster last December and didn’t have any joint problems after it.

Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia patient survey points to a need for better patient education
The interim report of an ongoing survey of CLL patients demonstrates that over 60% of respondents were unaware of different CLL risk groups and that about 20% felt they had "not received enough information about CLL to make informed treatment decisions". 14% of patients surveyed "were unable

Struggling again. On 8th chesty cold/virus since Covid. No resilience to anything. Four chest infections. Saw respiratory doctor who said see you in 6months time. On ever growing list for pulmonary rehab. Breathless, congested, tired. Tell me your stories. What helps you.
