flu and COVID vaccine at the same time (or few days apart)?
Some sources indicate that it's safe to receive a flu and COVID vaccine at the same time - and as a possible downside, cite modest side effects in a small number of people, i.e.: https://www.cidrap.umn.edu/news-perspective/2022/07/more-mostly-mild-side-effects-when-flu-vaccine-given-covid-booster https

Who is eligible for covid booster as househould contact?
Can anyone tell me who counts as a household contact. I have just had my sixth vaccination. My daughter who lives a way off isolates for a week before visiting. This is because she works in an open plan office with 50 other people. She is cross because she can't buy a jab like she does for flue! She

Covid Jabs
My son had Vasculitis in 1995 so I am interested in how often you are getting covid jabs.

MPs will hold a debate on procurement of Evusheld in UK
The petition “Fund Evusheld the preventative COVID19 antibody for immunocompromised' seems to have borne fruit, although it's well short of the 100,000 signatories ordinarily needed to spark a parliamentary debate. At least, that's what my email feed tells me, and it doesn't look like a hoax. [i]

Failed (?) fundoplication after covid cough?
I was diagnosed with hiatal hernia in Oct17. I managed it for a long time with very occasional reflux. I cannot take omoprozole so simply used Gaviscon occasionally (like once every 3 months) to manage any acid. Then in Aug21 it flared up horrendously. Everyday, all the time. I was unable to swallow

Covid, Thyroid meds and elevated pulse
I’m not sure if this question is allowed but Im struggling right now and feel like my thyroid meds could be complicating my covid recovery. I caught covid a week ago and have been suffering with all the usual issues from it coughing, dry heaves, body aches, horrible fatigue, clogged nose and no taste

Fatigue big time !
I had Covid 2nd week of September and returned to work (I'm a music teacher) a week later . I managed a week back and am now signed off until beginning of November. I have reduced from 8 to 7mg with no apparent issues but my fatigue is shocking , the worst it has ever been and I'm resting pretty much

COVID - an unusual route for infection
Having spent the best part of 3 years shielding, disinfecting, reduced socialising, mask wearing, and continuously washing hands, I finally succumbed to COVID after cleaning the doormat! Yep, surprised me as well, so during my self-isolation, I spent 3 days doing research (where's 2greys when you need

thank you to my GP
I want to give thanks to my GP for recognising that I need my covid booster. I was called up by text to get my flu jab and covid booster. Today I had one injection in each arm. The doctor who was doing my flu jab told the nurses in the room that I was having a covid booster because of "my underlying

DENTIST VISIT & COVID PRECAUTIONS
When I visited the dentist in 2020 and 2021 the dentist and her assistant were well masked-up with at least FFP3s. But when I visited this year in August both were wearing just the ordinary light blue medical masks (the receptionist and other patients wore no masks at all). I am on Rituximab (for RA

Failed the pip
Well guys I didn't get pip, I didn't think I would. Because I have had no time of work and I stand up all shift, apparently my limbs are ok so my mobility is good. The letter said I was not fatigued during the whole assessment. It was a telephone assessment, I am not going to be fatigued. So I didn't
