Breathing Test plus Skin Allergy Test
Hi it's me again....the bronchiectasis and COPD lady. Was wondering if any of you bronchiectasis/COPD folk out there have ever been given an appointment for a 'Skin Allergy Test'? I asked the respiratory consultant that I had seen last week to have another lung function test and a letter came in the

Allergies and Thyroxine Levels
Hi Does anyone know if allergies affect the thyroxine levels in the body? I seem to develop hypothyroid symptoms in the summer time and wondered if this was related. I am being tested for allergies at the moment. The pin prick test revealed a mild allergy to house mites and I am waiting for the results

Losing my voice
Since March of this, I keep losing my voice intermittently. It seems to happen at any time, though I have notice it can occur with dust (my allergy test came back negative for dust mites), fumes or at any time. After running the typical allergy tests, my results came back as normal. I also had an ultrasound

Low lung capacity
I am a 39 year old man, Smoker, weight 63KG & height 172 cm I fell always a mild shortness of breathe from the last 02 month. My doctor makes me the, Chest x-ray, 6 minute walk test, allergy test & a bronco provocation test. My chest X-ray, 6 minute walk test is quite normal with 95% oxygen saturation

Food allergy and intolerance myth buster by NHS Choices
Hi everyone, the other day I saw this tool about allergy and intolerance on the NHS Choices website! If you get confused with the differences between allergy and intolerance, have a go with the questionnaire (it only takes a few minutes!): http://www.nhs.uk/Tools/Pages/Food-allergy-myth-buster.aspx

Do I have VM?
My toddler has hand, foot and mouth. She's been sick about a week and I was fine until this morning. I woke up with a horrible headache. It felt like bad sinus pressure, so I took Allegra and Sudafed since I suffer from allergies as well. My symptoms were untouched. My neck is stiff and sore, feel feverish

Diet Change
I have suffered from IBS-D for about a year and a half and in some sort of pain/discomfort all the time (the pain varies from mild to severe) even though I am also having medication but still trying to find the right dosage. I am considering maybe having a trial where I take bread away from my diet to

Igg testing ---food allergies. Does anyone know about this. Is there different Igg antibodies? I searched but was unable to find that info.
I saw a Allergist yesterday. Unbelievable, the only dr. I found in the United States to try to help me. She listened to everything I had to say and she believed me. She had some answers, to why i felt so much pain after a blood transfusion, bad bug bite, etc... But guess what she trained in Europe &

Drug Allergies!
Since being diagnosed with Lupus I have developed soooo many allergies to drugs, it's now becoming a worry. I'm allergic to most types of antibiotic, different brands of some meds make me ill and even my anti rejection meds have caused allergies. My doctors tells me this is due to my Lupus - has anyone
