starting to have my doubts...
i am confused... I was diagnosed with asthma a year ago but was not told what type it was and as i do not have a particular problem with exercise i assumed it was allergic asthma as i developed it when i came to live in the uk in a fully carpeted house (i used to live in a stone floored house) and therefore

If you get heyfever I know the symptoms eg watery eyes and sneeze etc. when I had my allergy test I was told I had a grass allergy but dont get the symptoms like that so never taken anything for it and around grass all the time.However I do get a scratchy feeling at the back of my throat and cough alot

Asthma and steroids ggrr!
Has you may have seen my asthma is playing up big style.Im back on 40mg pred and day 7 but lungs still not happy and needing lot of reliever. Pf 250 and up to 300 and drops. Got up today and pf was 400 yippie when sat up in bed only to drop to 300 again and still inflamed and yoyoing up to 300 and 250

Tests
My RAST test came back for cat and dog allergy and not allergic to them. Also my allergy test came back ok. thats what they told me over the phone but will check with asthma nurse monday. What I would like to know is what else could cause asthma if Rast test ok and allergy test ok? love Glynis xxxxx

The Results of My Food Allergy Testing...
OK...so some of it I knew ... some was a total shock. I had the Hemocode Test done here in Canada - 250 foods and food additives. I understand it's available in the UK as well. It tests for food intolerances, not food allergies. (Allergies manifest in the mouth, throat and lungs and react quickly - intolerances
