Immunoglobulin A and NAFLD/NASH
Hello All, I’ve just had my latest bloods and my
Immunoglobulin
A (Iga) is 5.9!!! Normal range I believe is 0.8-3. Anyone had the same for fatty liver or NASH. Seeing a consultant on Tuesday and though I would try and get some info beforehand. Thanks everyone!

Intralipids prior to & during ivf?
Hi I'm currently on my 4th day of stims on my first IVF cycle. We're only doing egg collection this round because we're having them pgs tested. We'll take next cycle off too to detox from the stims. We then plan to do a FET the following cycle (late May). Been TTC since August 2017 and I've had two

Wow some great news ! How did I ever cope without a fab consultant.
Originally my lovely consultant wanted me to have
immunoglobulin
therapy but there is such a national shortage that’s not going to happen but to be quite honest I don’t want to have to go to hospital 5 days on the trot every month to sit on a drip for hours anyway lol.

IGm, CLL, Amyloidosis and Polyneuropathy
I’m at hospital again today, waiting in line to see my cardiologist to discuss my recently diagnosed Amyloidosis. Same time last week I was with my Oncologist discussing CLL and the week before that my Neurologist discussing my Polyneuropathy. Is it a stretch of the imagination that everything is related

Cortisol - ???? postural issues, vomiting etc..
In my 20's I had guillan barre (GBS) type episodes x 3 -
immunoglobulin
helped restore my leg function and got me walking (so autoimmune in nature), but it was always a bit odd as it effected a different part of my nerves to what they'd expect (axon not myelin sheath- hence the hesitancy to call it GBS

No CRP response, raised IgM
I have been seeing my rheumatologist since August 2017 and I have a working diagnosis of Behçet’s. I was started on colchicine which I tolerated for 5 months before having to stop due to severe gastric symptoms and weight loss. I was started on Imuran at the start of January and recently had my dose

Pulse Tinnitus
I was diagnosed with Pulse Tinnitus 2 years ago. I have the sensation of hearing the whoosh sound of blood in my head all the time, it’s worse at rest and after a heavy meal. It’s not a major deal, but it’s an annoyance. I have received a CT scan which was unremarkable and a Ultrasound Doppler test

Several of you were helpful enough to comment on my previous posts, where my rheum had dismissed by two positive LA results, as I don’t have a history of clotting. I do have a history of extreme fatigue, increasingly bad headaches, eye problems, skin rashes, Yada yada yada. Anyway, long story short I

Physical symptoms of depression?
Hello everyone. I’d really appreciate if you would take the time to read my story. I wonder if anyone has been through the same and if you’ve learnt something after this (and if so please do tell). I’m a 21 year old male. About 6 years ago I remember being bothered by strange symptoms. I would wake

Hi everyone, I've been tested for APS since August 2018. My symptoms scream of APS. After finally getting 3 lots of results 12 weeks apart I'm at a dead end. I don't understand them. My GP didn't either and has suggested another round of bloods in 12 weeks. I'll post here what I have hoping that you
