Decision Time
Hi all, I was diagnosed with thrombocytopenia in 2007 and over the years , my low platelets were managed with IVIG, prednisolone and Rituximab. However, now in my mid 60's the yo-yoing platelets is becoming more often and 3 different haematologists have urged me to go on a more "long term", treatment

Hello all of my CLL friends!! Happy New Year as well!! So, I was diagnosed with CLL in 2010 when I was 45 year old woman. Went through aggressive chemo, FCR. In my case the sickness now supposedly in remission but continued to make me critically ill even when it was over. If fact, I was in and out

APS - pregnancy loss with treatment - advice moving forward
Hi Everyone I’m new and so glad I came across this group on Health Unlocked. I’m looking for some advice/support/others that have experienced what I have. I had an obstetric APS diagnosis last May after 2 miscarriages at 8-9 weeks in July & Nov 2017. (I have a 4yo son too & that pregnancy went fine

Ivig therapy
Just came from the drs office. My iGg levels dropped again to IGM 21, IGA 27, IGG 213 Dr wants to start replacement therapy:(. He also started talking about me having MONOCLONAL B-cell lymphocytisos. Is that a precursor to cll which I was originally diagnosed with? My white blood cell count has remained

Indeterminate
I have been tested for aps 4 times throughout the past 6 years , everything is negative besides the igm which always comes back as indeterminate ranging from 13-17. My Endo says they are not concerned and there is no risk , I was wondering if anyone had any insight on repeated indeterminate igm results

CLL, Medicare & support meds
Hello all. I am about to retire (Mar 1) AND about to begin treatment for CLL - meaning we lose company sponsored BCBS and sign up for Medicare part D. I've been on the Medicare website and have an idea what Ibrutinib will cost on Medicare. I'm especially concerned about the "extra's" for CLL: neutrophil

Looking for an APS specialist in the San Francisco Bay area
Hi Everyone! I have been suffering from POTS for over 7 years, and have had various ANA and C4 complement blood tests come back borderline over the years as well. Most recently I got a borderline positive result for igG and Igm cardiolipins and am desperately trying to find a specialist in the area

Flair Trial 7 months in...
I’ve been on Ibrutinib and Venetoclax since May and all in all have been feeling great. Last weekend I had something new, in that my resting heart rate was 160+ and no beta blocker could slow it down below 120 and then only for an hour or two. Anyway, one trip to the operating table where they performed
