Hi all, after our first
icsi
we found out we were pregnant last week. Completely overwhelmed as never thought we would see a bfp. I’m now waiting for my 7 week scan, but I’m wondering if I need any blood tests before?

It only takes one. 💕
So my partner and I had to have the
ICSI
treatment and so this was our first cycle. After egg collection we were left with 7 embryos, 6 to which have been frozen and also had 1 fresh transfer.

Confused after follow up appointment
I had my follow up appointment yesterday to discuss my failed
ICSI
and I’ve come away so confused. The doctor told me my eggs were of a good quality I had a good number for my AMH level (4.1) which was all very reassuring.

Thyroid Levels for IVF
We are due to start our 2nd
ICSI
cycle this week hopefully and when I got my latest thyroid results just under 2 weeks ago my TSH was 1.07. I know the clinics like TSH to be below 2 which it is so I was relieved but I’m starting to feel a little over active so it may be even lower now.

Is there hope after two failed blastocyst cycles?
Dear all, I get my Day 5 results today from my second
ICSI
cycle and I am petrified I will have no blastocysts again. The doctor said if we get no blastocysts during this cycle, it is game over. It will be almost impossible for me to have my own child.

Thoughts on - Preimplantation Genetic Testing for Aneuploidy
Hi After an early miscarriage (low and slowly increasing HCG levels for over a month) from my first round of
ICSI
on NHS in October, we went back last week for a private consultation. Dr gave two options, short protocol or do the same again, long protocol.

FAILED 1ST ATTEMPT IVF AGE 45 WHEN SHOULD I GO FOR 2ND ROUND
We had to have
icsi
as my husbands sperm count was on low. 1 fertilised 2 didn't. Was called back to the clinic on day 2 for transfer. I was told the embi cells should have divided to 4 by day 2 of fertilisation and ours was a 8 cell.

Egg collection today, 7 collected.
Background: Second
ICSI
cycle, last one ended in a chemical pregnancy. My partner has low sperm count. Since then I have been diagnosed with endometriosis and adenomyosis. I am 36. Just had my egg collection today.

Experience of ABC clinic London?
Hi, Thanks to postcode lottery I was never able to access NHS ivf, after spending a a fortune at our previous private clinic I am considering doing my second round of IVF
ICSI
at ABC clinic in London. I think I meet all the criteria and the price is much more affordable.

When do you know when to stop?
This was our 4th round of
ICSI
and I tested this morning and it was a BFN. In my previous 3 cycles I have always bled early - 5 to 7 days before OTD, so I always knew early on that it was game over.

No embryos on first cycle - struggling to come to terms
They decided on day to do
icsi
. Only 1 egg was mature, failed to fertilise. The other two matured over night and only 1 fertilised. The clinic doesn't transfer/freeze unless eggs reach blastocyst stage, which it didn't so by day 6 I was told that it was all over. By day 6 we were actually fine.

OTD and BFN
It’s only my first round of
ICSI
so I’m hoping I get some answers as to why it didn’t work, I just don’t feel ready to go through all that again as we didn’t have any to freeze.

Looking for hope after first failed IVF ICSI cycle
(Sorry for long post 😁) Sadly we received a dreaded phone call early this morning with the bad news that our 2 fertilised eggs didn't make it beyond day 3. We were due for 1 or 2 embryo transfer this afternoon (Day 5 transfer). Obviously it is still raw but feeling a bit sore regarding the lack of

New interesting therapy for ICSI/IVF
My greetings, forumers! A few days ago I've read somewhere an article about a new and unique method to get pregnant in your 40s with your own eggs. Unfortunately, it is not impossible for me as I use DE, but there are many of you whose OE are still alive and can be used. I hope this may help. I just

Devastated
We first tried ‘traditional’ IVF in May 2017 (with
ICSI
) but none of my eggs fertilised at all and I was then told that there was a problem with my eggs and that I would never be able to have my own genetic children.

Ibuprofen and infertility
Hi All, I have not posted on here recently since I am trying to move flats, recover from a failed second cycle of
ICSI
and also just generally get through life as positively as I can. But just today I read that ibuprofen can affect women's fertility and I had a little panic.
