We are now having ICSI
We have been informed that the embryologist thinks that
ICSI
would be a better route for us than IVF as hubby has low morphology. Anyone else got experience of this? Lots of love and light to you all xx

ICSI for second child
I guess what’s hard for this time round is that with my daughter I barely had any symptons and felt good and it was a succesful IVF run at first go...now a failed cryo in October and a failed new IVF/
ICSI
run in Early December (also nothing to freeze).

Heartbroken 😔
So we’ve had our first round of
ICSI
& yesterday got a BFN. I know we would of been extremely lucky to be successful on our first round but everything was ‘perfect’ - thats what they kept telling us.

Question about periods....
I’ll waiting to start my period so I can go for baseline scan and start my
ICSI
round 2... I’m 4-5 days late now (100% not pregnant due to partners azospermia) ... the last two months my periods have been odd, I’ve always been like clock work 30 days. My periods have changed to now 35-36 days.

Gastro and AF arrived together :(
So we’re due to start our
ICSI
cycle and of course I wake up with AF and gastro. Been throwing up and in the bathroom on and off all day. Due to have first bloods tomorrow, am really hoping it’s just a 24 hr thing and doesn’t interfere with or affect our cycle. Due to start stimming tomorrow!

Hello lovelies 💕 Just a quick update..as many of you know I got my BFP last week after 2 rounds of
ICSI
and 3 embryo transfers...still cannot believe I'm pregnant 🙏 Also I haven't been on the site much as I am having extreme anxiety right now and not sleeping much.

Barts Ivf/ICSI referral. kindly read I know it's long write up
Reason for discharge was that we have been referred for Ivf/
ICSI
as male factor Azoospermia. The consultant filled the referral forms right in front of us before we left . I received a letter sent to my Gp which i was copied stating we have been referred for IVF at St bartholomew's.

Northern Ireland
Just wondering if any of the fellow ladies from Northern Ireland know how many free rounds of IVF/
ICSI
we are entitled to?

Finally joined the ICSI waiting list
We finally just made it onto the IVF/
ICSI
waiting list in Edinburgh. Trying to think positively this month but it’s a long arduous process which other people find so easy and it seems so unfair.

Failed fertilisation
Has anybody else had unsuccessful fertilisation with
icsi
. My husband and I had
icsi
last week (after his successful sperm retrieval). They managed to get 7 eggs from me- 4 where immature and 3 just didn’t fertilise. It never even entered my mind that this could happen 😔

DE journey starts here!
Failed
Icsi
in September left us a bit scared. Opted for DE in November and got “the phone call on Friday. We have a donor who is willing to egg share. Really happy but terrified at the same time. Still so many hoops to jump through and don’t want to get our hopes up.

OTD today (12dp5dt) and it's the dreaded but expected BFN.... 😝🤔😫☹️🤯😬😡😱🤬
(We are going to try for a 4th cycle.. but fresh
ICSI
because we lost all 3 frosties this cycle). But for now, I'm going to hold my hubby's hand and appreciate what we have (and we are very lucky to have our little girl who is currently singing Twinkle twinkle in her cot upstairs).

8dpfet today and testing negative
I have had 3 rounds of
icsi
and it was that last round that gave me my beautiful daughter, now 20 months. I thank god every day for her and still can't believe how lucky I am. I just watch her sleep in her cot at night and feel so privileged.

How do you know your egg quality is poor?
Most doctors we've seen since our first round (15 collected, 14 mature, 8 fertilised with
ICSI
, a few made it to blast but only one good enough to transfer and none to freeze) have said that the issues we had with embryo quality could be my husband's dna fragmentation (which we've now got in the normal

SpermComet Test
Urologist is amazed we managed to have our daughter 2 years ago by
ICSI
, says the embryologist literally found a needle in a haystack. He said to have Comet test to work out whether the damage is happening in the production of the Semen or at ejaculation.

Frustrated with folks around
We were advised to do
icsi
and in round one got 10eggs and 1 pgs normal, round 2 19 eggs and zero pgs normal. Docs kept saying since I'm 35 etc..i found inspiration from a few folks here and pushed hubby to meet an andrologist who did DNA fragmentation and found out 48pc abnormal.

Failed ICSI after successful fertilisation with IVF
Does anyone have experience of a successful
ICSI
after a failed first attempt? I'm trying to work out if I have the emotional strength and finances to go again...

Change of medication
Hi everyone I am currently on my 2nd round of
icsi
, I’ve been taking buserelin for a week and started with my stimulation medication yesterday but my consultant has decided to change me to gonal F rather than menopour that I used through the first round.
