Abstain During Stims

Hi All,

My Wife is Currently on Day 7 of Bemfola and 3rd Day Cetrotide. Got Day 8 Scan tomorrow to see how getting on and blood test for her.

How long do you have to Abstain before Egg Collection for a sample to be fresh. I haven't done anything for few weeks first time ICSI Short Protocol and don't want to mess up sample when comes to doing my part.

Hi, good luck. We had collection on a Wednesday and my husband was told to ejaculate the Sunday before to ensure the Wednesday sample was fresh.

We were told ejaculation 3-5 days before egg collection. Good luck!! While my husband was giving his 'sample' my Dad kept texting him wanting to talk about football. He still managed to soldier on - you'll be fine!!!

3 to 5 days but if it’s been a while you might want to get some in before then so the sample is a fresh as possible.
