We had our first failed cycle in July, obviously when I stopped all the medications I had a period in August.
Just wanted to know what eveyones first natural period was like after a failed cycle. I am currently due and thought my period was starting thursday but it isn't anything like a normal period! Sorry to be detailed but it is just a very small amount on a mini pad all day and a light brown colour. Just wanted to know other peoples experiences.

Sorry to hear about your failed cycle. After my first failed cycle my period was heavier than usual and more clotted. I think it was because the progesterone has built up a thicker lining than usual. My clinic confirmed to me that this was normal, but it doesn’t mean it will happen the same for everyone. If you’re worried make a note of what’s happened each day and if it goes on for much longer than what is your normal, you can explain to the doctor to get some qualified advice. Take care x
Hi Daxie. All I can say, is that periods vary so much after a tretment cycle, and can take up to 3 to return to what is normal for you. Hope all soon settles down for you. Diane
