Feeling low and sad

TTCWithCHSweetheart profile image

Hi everyone.

I’m back at work today angry 6 months at home following an ectopic, covid and another failed ICSI cycle.

I’m feeling super low and like I’m not getting any closer.

Not a huge amount of people know we’re going through this but it feels like I can’t talk about how sad I am because people are genuinely bored of it.

Any advise on how to stay positive?

Xx

Hi I just wanted to send you a hug 🤗 xx i struggle with feelings like this too. This is such a hard thing to go through and to keep going through.

I follow thisisalicerose and misconceptioncoach on Instagram if you are on there. They have some great ideas on how to deal with things. I hope this is helpful xx

Oh honey it’s so hard hey, I think it’s such a rollercoaster one day you can be positive and think tight this is the plan , the next you see/ hear a pregnant announcement and it knocks you for 6 or you just feel down. I think when you feel down allow yourself to feel that way - it’s healthy to let those emotions out. Have a cry, have a why me rant. Hopefully there is someone you can chat to? If not we are here and completely get you.

Sending you a big hug, and hope tomorrow is a brighter day xxxx

Hey there, hope your first day back went ok! Ive been there when you feel really down and hopeless and nothing goes your way!

Im sure people arent bored of you talking about it. I find friends sometimes feel like they are being nosy or will upset me to bring it up. So i let them know its ok to ask me things and i quite like it when they take an interest. I hope you find someone to talk to. What about your partner ? Also some sessions of counselling helped me when all the dissapointment of failed cycles and a miscarriage built up on me. Having someone removed from the whole situation who was impartial, trained and free from judgement really helped me and i would definately go back if i felt i needed it again. Sending big hugs xxx

I think counselling and a little bit of accepting this is where I am right now is the answer. I am so grateful for people on here like yourself. Thank you xxxx
