Just a quick one that has been playing on my mind, I'm due to start my 3rd ICSI cycle this month, however I am currently the heaviest I have ever been.. with lockdown and working from home etc ive just piled the lbs on my BMI is currently 30.1 as I'm private can be up to 35 but I'm thinking jts going to fail again because I've put weight on? Anyone else been in the same position that can advise?
Thank you

Hi Lorna - I did my cycle with a BMI a bit above that; it did fail but due to issues with sperm quality and DNA fragmentation, not anything to do with my weight. If you do have issues due to weight, I believe it's supposed to show up as poor response to stims and a low number of eggs, but I got 12 eggs which for my age at the time (40) was totally fine. If you know you've had issues with low numbers of eggs on previous cycles, maybe it could be a problem, but unless you know this is a problem I really wouldn't worry. Everyone's body is different xx
Just don't worry about your weight because I saw a vedio in which a lady bmi was over35 and got pregnancy and a healthy baby... Just com down your mind relax and be positive... As u said your clinic has no issue with weight then stop worrying.. Best of luck
