No period after ovulation!
I had my 2nd failed
icsi
cycle in march followed by the usual post cycle bleed, then tracked my ovulation the next month which showed I didn’t ovulate until day 23 but then started my period on day 29 (?!?!).

3rd loss
An ectopic in Jan (natural) and then early miscarriage in July after first round of
ICSI
. We’ve just finished our second round and got a strong positive. We thought this was our time and I was so excited for my 12 week scan on my 40th birthday which is just before Christmas.

How long do Frozen Transfers take?
Hi, I had my little girl last year on my second round of
ICSI
and we also were lucky enough to have some embryos to freeze. I’m now starting to think about trying for a second time but have no idea of the process/ timescale for frozen transfers?

change of protocol - long
hi all, hope you’re looking forward to the weekend 🐣 I had my follow up with the consultant and they are changing me to a long protocol with
ICSI
(6 week cycle) - my short protocol was only 10 days. I don’t really know what to expect in terms of drugs etc.

Will they stop my IVF (and ICSI) treatment? Miscarriage just before
I have had all my NHS IVF medication delivered, I was just waiting for my period to start any day now so I could begin injections. Then, on Tuesday this week I had my first ever positive pregnancy test. 2 days later I tested again and the test line was not as clear. 3 days later, today, I'm sure I have

IVF round 1 - 20 eggs collected, 0 fertilised
We are due to start our next round of IVF with
ICSI
in the next couple of weeks. To have 0 fertilise from 20 eggs was a massive shock so i'm feeling a little bit nervous about the next round. Just wondered if anyone has had a similar experience?

Another BFN, When to give up?
Hello all, I’m 40 years old and have now had 4 rounds of IVF/
ICSI
. Despite always producing a good number of eggs for my age (42 in total over 4 cycles) we’ve only had 4 transfers with 3 failing to implant and the only 1 that worked ended in a MMC at 9 weeks.

more heartbreak - any advice?
Second round 13 eggs with
icsi
, 4 mature 0 fertilised. My AMH is normal for my age and my follicle growth is good they say. They phoned today saying it is my egg quality and most probably down to genetics, but my family have no history of poor egg quality or early menopause.

Feeling awful and not coping!
Since 2019 we've been trying for a sibling using DE
ICSI
. Cycles 4-8 we're with a different donor to our son and we had 2 biochemicals , 1 negative and 2 early miscarriages. Cycle 8 I was expecting a negative and prepared for it to be the end of our journey.

One final roll of the dice
We’ve finally made the decision (9 months after our last failed cycle) to have one last roll of the dice to try for a sibling (daughter born 2020 on fourth go at IVF/
ICSI
).

Warning triggering. Successful arrival of rainbow baby.
So after over 5 years of trying, a natural ectopic, 2 very early losses, a diagnosis of endometriosis, lots of tests and 3 full rounds of IVF/
ICSI
our little Lyra arrived on the 16.03.2023. So in love worth all the pain, money and heartache 🥰

Follicle growth
Second round of
icsi
has begun, short protocol. I had my third scan yesterday to check the size of the follicles, however not big enough for retrieval, i now have to have another scan on monday to check the progress. This also happened to us in the first round.

closing the chapter on biological children. Next steps? Donor?
Myself and my husband have been working towards
icsi
for infertility for nearly two years. My husband has Kellmans syndrome and I have PCOS and endometriosis, so we knew it was unlikely we’d ever be able to have biological children.

Where to go from here…
We also have male fertility issues, so have done
ICSI
. Consultant was pretty blunt tbh, didn’t sugar coat anything. Told me to get bloods etc done again to check autoimmune, follicle count and AMH again . We spoke about one more cycle and the n considering donor eggs. I am 40, my AMH is 11.
