PMR without steroids
I cannot take
Ibuprofen
as I also have a blood clot on the brain so taking Warfarin. My pain is now so much worse, including my knees and often spreading down my arms into hands and up my neck.

Is it normal to be in THIS much pain?
I don’t even know what pain killer to take anymore because paracetamol,
ibuprofen
and codeine don’t seem to touch me anymore. Please help!

Had to take it really slow, legs felt good but was a little out of breath which I put down as a side effect of the
ibuprofen
. Breathing nice and easy once I slowed it down. It felt like a good run and I managed 50 minutes and 6k 👍

Down in the dumps ☹️
Went for a short easy walk today and have been taking
ibuprofen
and done several stretch excercises to help relieve it, but I don't think this is going anywhere soon , so very fed up . We will see how it is tomorrow but will not be running .

plantar fasciitis - corticosteroid
Ibuprofen
does help, but is not recommended due to Ibrutinib, paracetamol and co-codamol just do not have any effect. Tried rolling a frozen can of beans across the heal provides some temporary relief. Anyone else with plantar fasciitis and thoughts on the immunity question? BTW.

Strange flares?
The fever is easily reduced with a single tylenol or
Ibuprofen
(which my oncologist doesn't want me to take because my liver numbers are messed up, but which my primary care doc suggested to deal with the fever and pain.) The pain is significant and often multi-layered.

ibuprofen

Vein trouble after bike ride and chest pains for 3 days
So I did they refused to do one and told to go home and take
ibuprofen
. Didn’t take that as it will cause major bleeds. Not likely to get any more clots due to blood thinners Dr said. Should I be concerned as I was fine before the weekend and getting fitter.

Headache for 10 days straight, 2 years and 4 months post VM.
If a slight headache would come up in the past,
ibuprofen
would knock it out and it would not return. It did not even help in the least this past week when taking it. It’s so debilitating to have a constant headache!!

back in hospital and ibuprofen with astma
Also a young Dr told me the guidance had changed with regarding
ibuprofen
. He said its fine to take with asthma. I have always been told stay away. Has anyone else been told this or tried it. He gave me some but I am nervous to take to say the least. I stop moaning now

Does anyone use energy boosts?
I noticed when I ran the other night after work, my body felt like it was ready to stop at 3.5K, I although i forced myself to finish the 5K, it’s taken my body an extra day to recover from cramps, and only then with the help of heat rub and
ibuprofen
.

Update to very depressed and having pain, not knowing what to do
It seems to respond to
ibuprofen
which I took a few times but don’t want to use regularly. I didn’t want to increase the pred more, (a familiar story), after reading everyone’s comments I had to admit it was a flare and I needed more, so I increased to 13 mg.

Consistent Pain!
I try paracetamol,
ibuprofen
and codeine but nothing’s touching it. Got water bottles are also slightly giving relief but not much!and it’s all predominantly right sided.. Does anyone have any tips in managing endometriosis? As I’m still relatively new to adjusting to it!
