Chest pain
He recommended taking
ibuprofen
for it, but this doesn’t seem to have any effect on me, The pain doesn’t seem to be easing, if anything it’s getting worse. Should I be worried about the pain? If it is pleurisy then how long does this last and are there any other things I can do to reduce the pain?

After Surgery
I was given paracetamol and
ibuprofen
to take throughout the day, plus an aqueous nasal spray, nasal drops and saline solution to clear my nose twice a day. I've been following all of the instructions but I feel worse now than I did before surgery. My nose is bunged up. My head is thumping.

Advice after preliminary diagnosis of probable RA
Am taking
ibuprofen
but it only really takes the edge off it. I am struggling to sleep properly. My question is - should I really try to be minimising any activity which makes my symptoms worse until this disease is under control? How much should I just stop.

Day four back pain
PMRpro, I added 800 mg of
ibuprofen
last night and today, upping the prilosec to protect my stomach. I have a similar history of mis dx as you. Had to take 10 mg of Valium each time. It helps but l am still hobbling with a walker.

Romosozumab Update: Severe Joint Pain
I’m taking 800 milligrams of
ibuprofen
every 6 hours and it barely touches the pain. I am so disappointed. I really want this to work. I am recovering from 4 vertebrae fractures in the last 3 months.

When to take PPI
Hi, I am being prescribed Omeprazole for a possible ulcer and gastritis which I've had since last April after taking
ibuprofen
for a couple of days. So far I have been treating it with Biocare Slippery Elm Plus and homeopathic remedies, but it has recently got worse.

Leg pain management
Since then, I have managed any pain with paracetamol and
ibuprofen
however the pain has been getting worse lately and the pain down my leg from my groin has been unbearable. I’ve had my partner rub my leg and foot, I’ve tried pain killers and hit water bottles but nothing seems to work.

Pain Relief
I’m currently taking Pregabalin, paracetamol and
ibuprofen
(occasionally Mefenamic acid instead of the
ibuprofen
). The Pregabalin has really worked for me but not enough that I can get back to work. Does anyone have any other suggestions on medication that has worked for them?

New to RLS and Struggling BAD!!!
I am taking so many supplements and about 4 to 5 Tylenol a day plus
Ibuprofen
every day. I feel like I am going crazy. I take a warm bath every night with Epson salt and put lavender all over me. I spray my bedroom with lavender and I sleep with soap in the bed.

Keytruda Immunotherapy Update
So far very minimal side effects (knuckles in my hands were aching so taking some
ibuprofen
to help with that) and all my labs look great. I did some high dose radiation to some bone mets during cycles 1 and 2 as I read that could help the T-cells bring the hammer down on the PC.

So confused....
My confusion comes when I take
ibuprofen
and get some relief. So can Pmr go into remission prior to getting down to zero prednisone? Oh today I am going out to look at an automatic car. I have a manual and with bad left knee and sore right shoulder it is not fun to drive.

Questions
He is only taking
ibuprofen
and Tylenol but does have pain meds if needed. My question is what can we expect from these new drugs? Should he be taking anything else with them? I read somewhere prednisone should be included.
