I'm being treated for a embedded uti for 5 years and it's slowly getting better and I had a full
hysterectomy
including ovaries removed last March because early stages of womb cancer. I have lots of other health problems my bloods last done Sept last year were all normal i put them on here.

Whats the chances
If the chances are that low I don't think I can deal with the heart break and I think I'd want the
hysterectomy
but also same time I don't want to make wrong decision

Waiting for laparascopic Hysterectomy but struggling with womb and bowel symptoms
Hello everyone, I hopefully have a date next month for a laparoscopic
Hysterectomy
- waiting for confirmation in writing. Have been waiting for nearly 2 years on NHS. I am age 40, living in Scotland. I had none of these Gynae issues until about 3 years ago.

significant free fluid in pouch of douglas
I just want a
hysterectomy
and to be done with this. My mum passed away with very sudden onset and fast growing endometrial cancer in august 2022. She was diagnosed in July 2022 and died 9 weeks later. What can I ask for to help with this?

53, Bleeding on HRT and history of Endo
Now wondering if
hysterectomy
is next step or if to totally stop the combined HRT. Why okay for so long and then this? It also hurts when I have a bowel movement though no bleeding from bowel, and I’ve also been diagnosed yesterday with lichen sclerosis which I had never heard of.

Recent surgery
I have been on a waiting list for a
Hysterectomy
for 2 years. Had the surgery last week. Had to get second operation to address post operative internal bleeding. I have a lot of bruising from the ribs to my vagina and my abdomen is very swollen.

Coming off Prostap & Tibolone?
Not sure if I still want the
hysterectomy
/excision/separation surgery that I’m waiting for. Maybe once I find out how I am without Prostap, it will help me make up my mind!

New here and worried
I had a
hysterectomy
with retained ovaries in 2014. I also have lupus and a carrier of haemochromatosis. Gall bladder taken out 15 years ago. Routine rheumatology scans showed fatty liver in 2020. Have eaten healthier since then, but not lost much wright.

Post Hysterectomy
Hi all, I am 10 weeks post full
hysterectomy
. I feel I am doing well physically and have followed all advice. However, on Saturday some familiar pain started and I am now in bed with a severe flare up. I don't know where to turn or if this is normal?!

Surgery was hugely succesful, thank the Lord! 😇🙏
They got it all out, easily & cleanly, full radical
hysterectomy
and appendix. Signs they had thought were in mu bowels were ok so nothing to do there. Just the best news, I'm so truly grateful for that 💞 Once, recovered , chemo will restart to blast areas outside abdomen, my lungs & lymph nodes.

Stage 4 & POD obliteration
The plan is once we've had our 2 kids (if possible), then to have a full
hysterectomy
so should I just have it now and save some pain?

Experiences of using HRT after oophorectomy+ hysterectomy
Hello, Would anyone mind sharing their experiences of using HRT after oophorectomy+
hysterectomy
? I'm wondering whether to persevere with trying to find something better, or just give up entirely. Thanks 🙂 (I had my op years ago. Took over 2 years to get past the meno symptoms (no HRT).

Bleeding Heavily on Zoladex
I had an abandoned
hysterectomy
last September when they found stage 4 endo. After this I saw an endo specialist privately and he put me on zoladex. I had an MRI which showed a lot of endometriosis which has fused my bowel to my cervix and left ovary.

Pre Op assessment
Last month I received a call from the endo nurse saying that the MDT had reviewed my case and they didn't think I needed the colorectacal surgeon and had expedited my surgery (18 months wait to 3 months) for
hysterectomy
, salpingo-oopherectomy, bowel shave and excision of endo.
