Life after hysterectomy
But I don't know anyone else who has had a
hysterectomy
for endometriosis to ask if it has worked. Thanks for any feedback Emma

Endometriosis after hysterectomy?
I have since had a son 3 years ago (c-section) and in March this year I had a
hysterectomy
(kept ovaries that’s it) and laparoscopy to cut the endo away again. It was on my ovaries, fallopian tubes, womb and bowel.

Fibroids and Norethisterone, bleeding and spotting
Assuming the hysteroscopy doesn't find anything else, the scale of my fibroids mean a
hysterectomy
is the most likely course of treatment. But I don't know if I can handle the daily irregular flow that makes daily life almost impossible between then and now.

Want to keep ovaries and no
hysterectomy
yet. The large cyst on right ovary was news we didn't know. I asked is it definitely not ovarian cancer and he said he can't be sure until its been sent to lab. Just what I wanted to hear.

Advice on my Endo journey and symptoms
I am not medically trained so do not know all medical options available, It was basically
hysterectomy
or nothing (he did advise against
Hysterectomy
but couldn’t give me any other option besides just dealing with the pain and trying to shrink the fibroid) I am basically asking if anyone else experiences

Adenomyosis, should I have hysterectomy?
I'm booked for a
hysterectomy
on Tuesday, but unsurprisingly I'm a bit anxious about it and having some doubts. I'm trying to weigh up the
hysterectomy
compared to staying on the zoladex, which feels impossible because there are so many unknowns.

Anyone else had both ovaries out?
Hey all, so due to Endo and PMDD I had a
hysterectomy
on 1st August. Last minute paranoia meant I decided to keep an ovary. My PMDD has returned and I’ve been getting pains in my lonesome ovary. Really struggling if I’m honest and have gyne next week.

Endometriosis and the Kyleena IUD
I went to my GP to ask for a
hysterectomy
due to my increased symptoms of endo that I've had since I was 11 (I'm now 36). I have been absolutely blessed with having a child of my own and have now got to the stage in my life where child 2 isn't on the cards anymore.

Stage 4 OC — Deposits on liver
Immediately started three rounds of chemo, then had optimal debunking surgery and full
hysterectomy
, and continued with three more rounds of chemo.

Feeling guilty and ashamed for using pain relief 😢
Currently on a 2 year waiting list for endometriosis removal and
hysterectomy
. Been dealing with this for over 12 years and I'm done.

Should I have a hysterectomy?
The short version is that I have adenomyosis, but it is well enough managed on zoladex/Tibolone that I'm not having any significant pain and not bleeding enough that it is a problem, but I do have lots of more minor issues and my consultant thinks a
hysterectomy
would be better.

Long post sorry
New consultant took offer my care 3 months ago and straight away said he would do a
hysterectomy
as I have been through all the other options and it’s only made things worse. Looking at July next year due to the waiting lists.

thoughts on result update
I posted my daughters pre
hysterectomy
bloods in September and had some excellent advice. She has redone the blood tests and I still think the thyroid test results are strange. She has been on iron for 8 weeks. The first results are for September.

Confused
The consultant today said he is going to try and get some clarity and he thinks I should just go to james cook and have a
hysterectomy
🤯 I can upload reports if best

Happy New Year
I'm well and coming up to first anniversary of total
hysterectomy
for grade 1b ovarian cancer. No treatment just 3 monthly follow ups with CA125. I am very emotional and feeling like a bit of a fraud for not just being very grateful that I am still here. Thanks

Desperate for some advice
I've got an appointment this week to hopefully get a date for a
hysterectomy
. Over the past 4 weeks, I've had chronic diarrhoea, heavy bloating across all of my abdomen and over the past few days shortness of breath. It got so uncomfortable that last night I went to urgent care.

pain management
Hi all I had a full
hysterectomy
in February this year & endometriosis has already come back & is also on my bowel & bladder. I’ve taken so many meds & I’m still lying here awake in absolute agony. Any advice/recommendations for pain relief would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
