Fluctuating Thyroid levels long after RAI
I did have
hysterectomy
leaving the ovaries a couple years ago and might be going through early perimemopause. Would that cause thyroid to fluctuate, even getting higher?

Hysterectomy
I tried to find info regarding this and could not, when I found out about my lymphocytosis was during a female exam where we were discussing having a
hysterectomy
. I didn’t know if anyone with CLL has had a
hysterectomy
with CLL.

No invasive methods or vaginal hysterectomy for fibroids
Hello everybody! I am waiting for a open surgery to remove a top intramural 11cm fibroid. I still hope to find a no invasive method or a surgery throughout the vagina. Does anyone here could treat a fibroid in this way? Maybe having a treatment to shrink it before getting your uterus removed? Please

Severe pain four weeks post hysterectomy
I had a full
hysterectomy
and a lot of endometriosis growths removed from my left side pelvic area/bowel and bladder area four weeks this Saturday. I am experiencing excruciating pain in my left side particularly when I’m standing up and walking about.

Hysterectomy and bilateral oophorectomy
I am aware that the
hysterectomy
may not work but at this point I’m willing to try it in case it does.

So I had a
hysterectomy
with ovary conservation. I still had bladder, bowel and back issues but the pelvic pain was gone. Until aug of 2019 when it came back with a vengeance.

Adenomyosis help? (Endometriosis of the womb)
I’ve been told my only options are now either a
hysterectomy
or Zoladex injections. I definitely want to have children in the next few years so a
hysterectomy
is out of the question for me.

metastatic cancer in the omentum and lungs
Treatment for this was a
hysterectomy
,chemo/brachytherapy. The treatment is the same as ovarian cancer, hence my post. This morning I had the devastating news that I now have cancer in the lungs & omentum. There will be an MDT meeting next Wednesday to decide a course of action.

At 5ft 2 I was a standard size 14 weighing 10 stone and was happy with that - Since the Menopause and a
hysterectomy
I have gained 7 stone! I look like a spacehopper! So today I start in earnest.....aged 57 and very very unhappy :(

Update
She read everything before meeting me and understood everything I told her, she offered a few theories and explained that effectively the best route is another scan and a
hysterectomy
. She says it's the best treatment option to offer the highest chance of normal life.

Do I have to have a hysterectomy?
I’ve been advised to have a
hysterectomy
but I really don’t want to. I understand it increases risk of heart disease which runs in my family. I’d like to go through menopause naturally as I’m a very active full time mum.

Stage 4 Clear Cell Ovarian Cancer
I had a full
hysterectomy
and chemo and I was clear last year. Unfortunately it has now returned and I have been informed it is terminal. I am in the process of going on the PEACOCC trial at UCL which will hopefully lengthen my life. At the moment I am actually quite well just very tired.
