Saw a specialist
It has been such a rollercoaster since my abandoned
hysterectomy
but I'm feeling much more positive moving forward.

Not exactly PMR but advice please about post menopausal dryness.
I had a full
hysterectomy
at age 60, just before PMR was finally diagnosed. Since then I have had no partner so I have been ignoring that aspect of my life and my body.

Treatment wait length- Public Health System Ireland
My mom had a 1kg cyst removed a few years ago and full
hysterectomy
and there is bowel cancer in the family also so I'd rather not wait around. Has anyone had treatment and surgery on the Public Health System and if so, what was the wait times please?

Decisions re possible surgery
Surgery to remove endo and
hysterectomy
. I had surgery in 2019 to treat insicional hernias in c section scar so also have a mesh. I've asked to see the consultant to discuss all options but this won't be until the new year!

Post surgery issues
I had Interval Debulking/Radical
Hysterectomy
on 26 October. The surgery went well and I came home after 5 nights. I have suffered with horrible bloating and pain since and was told when still in the hospital it was from post-surgery gas which I know is an issue.

don’t know what to think anymore.
Hi all, I posted on here little while ago about my mum having total abdo
hysterectomy
for ovarian cancer. We are now 3 weeks on from surgery. a 10cm cyst was removed which at the time, they assumed it was cancer. We went to her results and biopsy results yesterday.

Oestrogen only has I have had a
hysterectomy
. I’m 71 years old - I’m wondering whether it’s likely to cause any unwanted side effects due to my age?

Advise please
I currently take Levothyroxine, and I am HRT as I had a
hysterectomy
in 2010, and it does help. I am also on Paroxatine for depression & anxiety but I am well at this moment and have been for a long time, but advised I have to take this for life.

I'm 44 no period for almost 3 months now but have heavy aching pain, feel like endo is back big time 😥😥😥 My question is do you think a
hysterectomy
is the only solution?

Mixed news!
Following the emergency removal of my ovarian tumour and then my full
hysterectomy
, the biopsies showed some pre-cancerous cells in the cervix. Waited 4 months for a CT scan, the results are no evidence of disease from tumour, or cervix area, and lung embolism appears to have resolved too.

pregnancy after surgery?
I know eventually I’ll need a
hysterectomy
to deal with the adenomyosis but I just don’t wanna say goodbye to the chance of having a baby with the love of my life just yet.

Feeling so alone
Few bad choices on partners but now I have a great partner. 2 years ago I was diagnosed with fibroids but I still ploughed on and tried to not let it effect me and in May this year I finally had a full
