Do I have a hysterectomy?
I have suffered with pain since I was 11 years old and am now 38. I have had 2 coils, 2 laparoscopys, tried tri-cycling my combined pill for years, the mini pill, hormone injections and HRT. I have pain for 7-10days on a 2 weekly cycle and feel like my endo rules my life. I feel like I am not able to

Zoladex Injection
Hi Yesterday had my first Zoladex injection to shrink my fibroids and womb ready for my hysterectomy. I ve been informed of the possible side effects of the Zoladex which is basically going through the menopause. Has anyone else had similar experience?

Bladder issues after hysterectomy
Hi I had a total abdominal hysterectomy taking everything, had 1 post op UTI. I'm 7 weeks post op, every time I go for a wee, I have pain and pressure after finishing for a few seconds. It's starting to get me down. No UTI. I had a vertical cut. Has anyone else experienced pain where their bladder is

issues and pain for women in Pd. Anywhere safe to share? Here?
Hi all im experiencing some very ennerving pain. A few days ago i thought it could be central pain. It really feels like tooth sensititvity but it affects sacrum, leg, and intimate area. I research online and came accross a link. They called it "restless genital syndrome" Just before i had any Pd symptoms

HRT for fibro? Anyone got experience?
I have severe Fibro and have been bed bound for months with that and covid effects. My GP has suggested HRT - I had a hysterectomy in 2004 so well through the menopause without symptoms. My GP has seen great results in another patient and wants me to consider it. I did read a medical study that backed

MRI
I have a pelvic MRI this Wednesday. I was shown pics of the endo they found in my abdomen two weeks ago. I'm scared of what they'll find. The doctor has already said he will likely do excision but may need to go for a lap hysterectomy. I'm not convinced surgery is the answer at all.

I am 6 months in remission from having stage 3 ovarian cancer after having a hysterectomy and 6 rounds of chemo. I am now taking Niraparib for the next two years to hopefully prevent the cancer from returning. I have booked to go to Canada to visit family and looking at travel insurance I am being quoted

1 year post hysterectomy
I had a full hysterectomy 1 year ago, saved one ovary so could avoid hrt but it pretty much died within a few months so started hrt in around Oct. Was fine for a good few months but in last month or so feel absolutely awful! So bad off work at moment as the migraines are unreal, having bowel issues yet

I am 65, have a benign cyst on an ovary which has been there at least 18 months. The consultant wants me to have a full/total hysterectomy (am in UK so that means total). I am unsure if I should agree as worried about totally losing oestrogen, and some stuff I've heard and read about how you have a
